El personal poco amable. Y nos engañaron cuando nos contrató un chofer con una tarifa fija y de confianza y nos terminaron cobrando de más y pasando un momento horrible. Y por supuesto ninguno pidió disculpas ni explicó por qué. Asique recomiendo pedir taxi desde booking. Otra cosa la habitación olía fatal, humedad, viejo y el sillón cama que teníamos no estaba ni preparado. Lamentable todo.

Pros:

Location was excellent for the trip. We flew to Miami for a cruise and hotel was directly across the street from the Port.

Stayed a lot of places in past few years. This is a disappointment.

This is long long overdue for a remodel. Could smell mold and moisture in halls. Especially old and tired flooring, bathrooms facilities ancient. It was like an old roadside motel. Truly a disappointment.

Stay was fantastic! I will always stay there prior to my cruise departures.

Gorgeous view of the port with all the cruise ships as I stayed on the 10th floor as my request for a higher floor was accommodated by the hotel concierge representative.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Stay at Holiday Inn Miami – December 20–21

Dear Mr. Richard,

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me regarding my recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Miami from December 20 to December 21. I am writing to formally document the issues encountered during this stay and to request that appropriate action be taken to address them.

Upon checking into our room, we immediately noticed multiple concerning issues that I addressed including those listed below.
• Soiled linens and blankets, including blood stains and ripped blankets
• Slow drainage in the bathroom sink
• Broken bathroom door
• Grout and tub distortion
• Old shower fixtures with calcium buildup on the showerhead
• Malfunctioning light fixtures that make noise when turned off
• Overall poor maintenance, including peeling paint, worn carpet, unpleasant room odor, and outdated room condition

We brought these concerns to the attention of the front desk staff. Unfortunately, we were informed that no alternative rooms were available, and that all rooms in the hotel appeared to have similar issues.

Additionally, the heating system in the room was not functional, leaving the room uncomfortably cold. While we requested additional blankets to compensate, two of them were soiled and unacceptable for use.

While we appreciated the friendly service from staff and the hotel’s convenient location and view, the condition of the room was unacceptable for a paid stay.

This booking was made through Booking.com, and I will also be submitting a review to ensure other travelers are aware of these issues. I am requesting that the hotel take appropriate measures to address these maintenance concerns and ensure this situation is not repeated for future guests.

The front desk lady was incompetent and unfriendly. She couldn’t find my name, she didn’t let us know when the breakfast was or given the coupon even though we paid for it, she couldn’t answer any of the questions we had.

It was so outdated and dirty - it smells in the hallway and the sheets or towels weren’t clean.

Some milk was outdated at the breakfast.

The perfect Location for the NYE Celebrations

Cons:

Man merkt, dass das Hotel in der unteren Klasse sich befindet, eher nicht sehr sauber und es ist auch schon sehr alt, und nicht gewartet. Der Lift ist einen ganzen Tag lang ausgefallen...🙄
