Me encantó!
Pros:

Good value for hotel in centre of Banff
Pros:

We stayed at Brewster Mountain Lodge for 2 nights in May. They allowed us to check in early just before noon as our room was ready. Check in was a breeze and counter staff were efficient and helpful with suggestions on where to dine or go for a hike. The counter was also stocked with wrapped snacks, such as chocolate banana bread and sausage and cheese pastry. Parking is available in their underground carpark for $13 per night with unlimited entry/exit and parking in some lots might be tight. The road on one side of the hotel is under construction and was dusty. Our room was nicely furnished with rustic log furniture, a mini-fridge, 2 fans (there’s no air-conditioning in summer), coffeemaker and a electric kettle, but no microwave. The bathroom was larger than normal and the bathtub was a jacuzzi. Complementary hot and cold breakfast included a range of food – sausages, beef balls, pastries, breads, jams & butter, cheese slices, several cereals, cooked oats, fruits (bananas, apples), and hardboiled eggs.

Excellent
Pros:

Stayed here for three nights, during which Julie, Jack and Karleen gave us excellent service. The hotel is superbly placed for the centre of town and everything seems very well organised. A pity about the roadworks outside, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Overall, I was very happy with my stay at the Brewster.
Pros:

The hotel location was close to Food, Beverages, Shopping, Nature trails, and Buses.
The Breakfast Nook is good and appreciated. Just don't expect a diverse choice, especially if you have dietary restrictions. Their coffee is great, and of course, the food is available at no cost (included with your room).

Cons:

At this time, there is construction on Caribou in front of the hotel, with gravel for sidewalks, making it difficult to navigate beyond the hotel. Give them a few months and the town should have it fixed.
There was no construction at night, so no noise from that.
The only noise I heard at night sounded like an industrial washing machine, AND the LOUD sound of door locks as doors were closed by customers after midnight (late arrivals, or late partying customers).

I pray I get to return one day!
Pros:

We were there for a family wedding. Our flights were delayed and rerouted and it was a whole 20 hour ordeal, but I stayed in contact with Brewster on email. They responded immediately back every time. I let them know about our flights, our wishes for the type of room, extra fan, extra hangars and everything I requested was there when we finally got in after midnight AND our room was to die for! Room 308 had the best views you could ask for!

Cons:

The only way to make our lodging better would have been if there were a remote control, or wall switch next to the bed, to control the blinds covering that big beautiful window view of the mountains! Then you wouldn't even have to get out of bed to awaken to the view of mountains!

The location was perfect also. Close to stores, restaurants and cafes.

Cons:

Liked everything!

OK.
Pros:

We got upgraded to a nicer room at no extra charge....BUT that was because there was construction on the street outside the entrance.

Cons:

The construction. I know it's not the hotel's fault BUT they could have warned us before arrival. The jackhammering literally traveled along the log framing and across to the far side of the hotel where they put all the guests.

The most accommodating staff and sweet surprises
Pros:

The staff was completely accommodating in many ways - they met every expectation and had treats every day and night - from chocolate frosted banana bread, s’mores by the fire, a full breakfast in a charming nook and an authentic decor suggestive of a lodge. I️ enjoyed it so much.
