The people at the hotel desk and the cleaners were very friendly and helpful.
During the day there was a lot of noise due to a renovation on another floor. Luckily we were mostly not in the hotel during working hours.
I had to leave before breakfast to catch my flight. Dinner was good
The carpet in the room was dirty and old

Strange smell from the wardrobe
Location is good. Rooms are clean and average.
The mattress was extremely hard. The WiFi did not work at all. The traffic was very loud. The breakfast was not good.
Street noise at night
It is clean and confortable
The reception staff are extremely rude and do not have patience to help or answer questions. One even hanged up on me when I told her about food allergies for breakfast.
The first room we got smelled like old cigarette smoke, we then got shifted to the room next to it which smelled better at first. At night it started to smell like smoke again.
The noise is horrifying. Even when the windows are closed it's incredibly loud. So much so that you will have a hard time sleeping. Not to mention the smell of the smog coming from all the cars. The hotel is situated at a 4 lane highway both ways by the way. The location is generally pretty bad, I'd rather recommend staying in Miraflores.
There were also very noisy other guests, which obviously isn't the hotel's fault but it was still a very bad experience since they were knocking at our door at night and we heard them running away giggling.
The second or third day I went into the bathroom and got locked in. Luckily my friend was still in the room and after a few tries to open the door from outside he has to get a member of staff from the hotel to get me out. For the rest of the stay we didn't dare to close the bathroom door again (and we're not a couple so it was a bit awkward sometimes).
The next day we noticed that the handle of the window was missing. They had a handyman come in and repair it a few hours later.
All in all we had a terrible time there and on top of that it was incredibly overpriced.
This is probably one of the noisiest places on earth. The hotel is next to an 8-lane highway and the windows do not shut properly. Considering the driving habits of Peruvians (and their constant honking for no reasons), the noise drove me mad. Also, the hotel is indeed close to the airport, so that you get planes taking off and landing on top of your head starting at 5am. I moved from a suite on the street to a very small room in the middle of the building (no hot water). But you still get noise there.
Otherwise, the staff is nice enough.
I stopped by that hotel to do a reserve, and the lady behind the desk was so rude and snoody that I just got my wife and kid again back to the taxi and left! Imagine what could have been next! Why people insist acting like that...
Just two night stay as we were catching a flight to Jaen. Close to the airport and 2 blocks from San Miguel shopping mall. Get a room in the back as the main avenue is very busy and noisy. Breakfast was basic, but adequate.
The room, and the hotel in general, is overdue for some upgrades and improvements, but is overall clean.
