Great location and price was decent, looked to be a lively bar downstairs (but didn't disturb me on the 4th floor)

Cons:

It was FINE I suppose. Like a lot of these modern boutique style hotels from bigger hotel chains (like the Moxy) you get a some small attempt at an amount of modern character but sacrifice some basics things you'd expect in a hotel like room service, coffee machine, getting your room made up each day. the traffic noise (hooting) from the street was pretty bad, Chicagoans seemingly unable to drive more than 50 meters without leaning on the horn. I think next time I'd be tempted to not try and be a hipster and just book a mainstream hotel brand.

Great location great staff great value
Pros:

Extremely convenient location in Chicago (River North) - convenient to all major attractions. Numerous restaurants nearby. Exceptional service at front desk. - which helped me print some documents I needed at very last minute for an appoitment. Downside was only one elevator working which made checkout a challenge for those on lwoer floors. Good value price wise. I feel rooms could be a little fresher paint wise.

Good Value
Pros:

Cute little hotel with a great location in Streeterville. Close to the Grand Station and lots of good bars and restaurants. It was quiet at night. The room is small and the mattress was lumpy. The bathroom mirror has giant lipstick lips that glow at night.... super creepy. On the plus side there is a small fitness center and even a hottub in the basement but the hottub was dirty. There is no coffee in the room but a coffee shop downstairs. It did the job for a quick Chicago trip and was the most affordable option.

Overrated Tacky Hotel

Cons:

Tacky decor that looks like it was chosen by high school kids. Incompetent front desk. Basic king room has no view of the sky - it's like a janitors closet. And everything is budget - they don't even give you coffee in the room. They brand it like a fancy hotel - it's definitely not.
