Convient location to airport. Clean room and lobby area. Restaurant not as advertised. Many of the menu items were not available for Sunday dinner or Monday breakfast.
Restaurant menu nit as advertised. Service was poor.
Proximity to the airport.
1. Cost. The guest has little choice of lodging this close to the airport, and Hilton is taking advantage of their near-monopoly to milk the guest for every penny.
2. Cost of services. Every additional service, most of which would be free in other hotels, has a fee associated with it.
3. Sterility. The hotel has no real personality. It is a sterile, corporate entity designed to look good in advertising materials.
4. Low quality. Notwithstanding the pretense of "luxury", this is a pretty basic business-class hotel: cinder block, vinyl, polyester, and plastic plants.
It was Quiet,clean
Charging for breakfast 16 dollars a plate I have a family of 4, could of been nice too wake up too breakfast included
The room was very nice. BREAKFAST NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED THOUGH. ENJOYED THE POOL AS WELL.

The cleanliness could have been better, the room door was half broken, there was a constant hummimg noice a sif some latch was not closed.

Restaurant staff limited. Slow service
Great spot if you are stuck at the airport!
All good!
We primarily booked this hotel for its location, essentially adjacent to the airport with a free 24-hour shuttle. Our flight into Columbus landed at 11:50 PM and we were laying down to sleep at 12:30 AM. However, the highlights of the hotel stop there.
When we checked in the entire hotel seemed very worn, just felt used. When we got to the room, the bedspread was not clean, the room was hot as the AC did not work well, either full on or off, and the bathroom had low water pressure.
In many ways we were able to be up and gone by 8:00 AM so we did not expect or use much of the hotel. The hotel was also well located to the Rental Car Center so we could get our car and leave quickly. However, this hotel was simply below the standards we expected for a Hilton hotel.
The location is near the airport (which unfortunately was completely under construction)
Staff were lackluster at best. Not knowledgeable about the free shuttle service (which is one of the primary reasons we booked there). The overnight clerk (in between eating cereal and watching videos on the computer) told us "if he's not too busy, the shuttle driver could maybe pick us up in 20 minutes or so). This is a tiny airport and the whole shuttle circuit is maybe half a mile? No idea how that would take 20 minutes at 4 a.m.?
The pool is absolutely tiny. We had also chosen this hotel because of the pool which we ended up not using (if 2 people were in it, it was full).
Overall, a poor representation for Hilton, which we've stayed in before
I am a Diamond Hilton member. Hilton Garden Inns are my safe choice when I travel for work. This Columbus airport property has changed that.
Daisy at the front desk was appalling. When I told her there was no water in the gym, she rolled her eyes at me and said "that's maintenance, we don't do that." I asked her to call maintenance. She refused. I pointed out the lobby water station was also empty. She told me it would not be refilled until noon and suggested I buy bottled water. No apology. No effort. Just eye rolls and attitude from a woman who clearly has no business working in hospitality. The woman sitting right next to her at the desk never moved, never spoke, never offered to help. Two people doing absolutely nothing, and proud of it.
The gym has two functional machines, no water, no cups, and a broken bike. The hallway carpets are rippled and caught my luggage the entire length of the hall. Room 134 smells strongly of spice and rancidness. My door lock was broken and nobody bothered to mention it at check-in. The lobby was unvacuumed. The water station had old citrus floating in it from the night before.
The one bright spot is the midday woman who wears pigtails. She is genuinely wonderful and the only reason I kept returning. She deserves a far better property.
Hilton, this needs immediate attention.
This hotel is filthy. When you first walk I. The carpet is bubbling up in all of the hallways like there has been water damage. Got to the room, it had a terrible musty smell.
The bathroom toilet was rusted, the door had some sort of black streaks down it, the bathtub had an orange tinge.
The beds were gross, no full mattress protector only fitting sheets, beds are on a wood base which had food crumbs and god knows what else on them.
The ceiling had major water damage and it was literally flaking and falling into the floor.
I can only assume there were boogers or maybe specs of food wiped on the walls by the desk. Water stains on the phone.
For a Hilton this is disgusting. It gave super 8 or worse vibes. I immediately left this property.
