Pros:

We felt right at home in the space both in our rooms, and in the public spaces. Great value for money. The daily breakfast and ski shuttle stop outside made our ski trip a breeze. Loved the extras like the free bus passes. Staff were amazing 👏 🤩. Thanks for an excellent experience.

Cons:

I had to think about this! Water temperature to showers wasn't perfect but was really fine. Lighting in rooms could be better.

Pros:

Location and facilities

Cons:

We were there on a really busy weekend and there was not enough underground parking spaces. We had to park a few blocks away illegally.

Pros:

Shortly before I arrived, I found out that my family member was dying, so when I came in I was having a hard time speaking to the staff about checking in. They noticed my distress and proceeded to let me check in early into an incredible room and were very kind to me during my visit. The amenities were wonderful and I highly recommend staying here while in Banff. Thank you guys for being so nice to me during this tough time. It helped a lot.

Supertrevligt boende med mysig atmosfär.
Pros:

Best hotel in Banff
Pros:

This hotel was perfect for us. This was our first trip to Banff. When we return in the summer, we are staying here for sure.
It started at check-in. We were early, but the gentleman found us a room that was ready and got us set up. The friendliness of all the staff was amazing. Our entire stay as filled with helpful, friendly staff.
The hotel is adventure-themed, and all the art is photos of local places. This was the funniest theme I have found in a hotel. Details all around the property nod to camping, hiking, skiing, kayaking, and the mountains. They even have a smores happy hour, which includes adult drink deals. How much fun is that!?
The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and super cute. The parking in under the hotel and so easy to use. There are ski lockers as well as a bike repair station and racks.
The location is perfect for Banff. Just far enough away from the downtown district, yet only a short walk or the city shuttle bus.
They made me feel so extra special for my best birthday trip yet.

It was an amazing wonderful experience!!
Pros:

Beautiful space and friendly staff from checkin to checkout and everyone in between. The distance to centre town was acceptable as we like to hike but also the bus passes came in so handy. We really appreciated those when we went out for supper!! Having a snack bar open late in the day was wonderful too! We ate smoked meat and had a drink watching the olympics in the lounge which was great !!! Very warm and inviting hotel and we hope to be back!! We are hoping to make this a twice a year trip for ourselves!! We enjoyed Banff and the Canalta just made it that much better. Thank you to all that made that happen !!!! Vicki and Mike L

Cons:

The balcony could have been a bit bigger as it was hard to sit out there. We paid for the balcony upgrade but it was probably ok for one person but not two. The lighting in the rooms could have been brighter. The bathroom had very warm lighting. Not good at all for makeup application or any function using the mirror!! The only way to get more lighting
was opening the blinds but you sacrificed privacy for that
