Pros:

Pros:

Excellent location and the room is small but clean and cozy. The only thing is when the neighbors besides my room took a shower made a strong noise in my room and sometimes it was late at night.

Pros:

De authentieke uitstraling

Cons:

Pros:

The ambience of the hotel, it is very beautiful & feels very homely in the Foyer area. It was clean & warm. The location is fantastic. It is one of my favourite places to stay in Scotland.

Cons:

The Ash restaurant, the food was mediocre & extremely expensive. The manager wasn't very helpful to me & I was travelling with my toddler. I love the hotel but I will give eating at the Ash Restaurant a miss in future.

Good for the location but otherwise disappointing.
Pros:

Disappointed that only a continental breakfast. Location was ideal as next to train station.

Cons:

Our room was noisy from room above. It was not possible to open the windows as it opened directly onto the station platform. No alternative way of cooling the room. Tv didn't work. We called for someone. They did not come as busy with check ins. Phoned us much later when we had gone to sleep.

Mixed feelings
Pros:

Was very clean, room in places needed some TLC, wallpaper peeling off, window latch broken so rattling, but the bathroom was amazing, heated towel rail, free toiletries, so clean. Didn’t look round the whole of the hotel as arrived late and was tired, breakfast was nice, quite a big choice. Price was expensive compared to other places I’ve stayed.
