Not at all impressed with the staff - no

Excellent location but there must be better places for less money.
Pros:

The communal areas were grand.

Cons:

The rooms were very tired, more than the age of the building warranted.
There were a mix of staff on reception with the younger members offering a warm welcome but there were others who's welcome was non existent.
The bar staff were led by a manager for whom everything was too much bother .
Breakfast was included but you had to pay extra for cooked breakfast. The quality was okay but the fruit salad being out of a tin sums the place up.

Clean but Tired
Pros:

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is excellent being right beside the station

Cons:

Although the rooms look like they've been decorated since my last visit and everything is clean, being an old building fixtures like the windows and bathroom fitments are past their best and could do with an overhaul.
