Rooms well fitted out and all extra toiletries provided in an historic hotel with traditional charm and a grand staircase of 'Titanic' fame

Cons:

The hotel was once a grand building, however, I think it is now a little tired and is due an update.
Pros:

The room is quiet and comfortable.

Cons:

The TV reception was poor and we kept losing reception. The lift stopped working in the morning after our stay. The car park only holds about 6 cars and was not availble during our visit.

Trip to Inverness
Pros:

The lication was good as right next door to the train station. The bed was huge. Good location for shops, pubs, walking around town and sightseeing

Cons:

The rooms and decor are tired, huge bed but uncomfortable. Worn threadbare curtains. Lift wasn't working on arrival day but was being fixed. Lighting operated by several switches but you must remember the correct switch combination to get the lights to go on.
