Hotel Ramakrishna

The stay at the hotel is good it'll give you the comfort you'll need after coming from the darshan & this is in the centre of the town(closest to the Eesanya lingam which is the last one to visit while doing a giri pradkshan) And I've found the bathroom clean and hygiene. Reception staff ananth was good and humble. Overall a good stay at this hotel for vacation.

Old building.
Squeaky fan.
Toilet does not flush well.

Renovation is going on and there are scaffoldings and net all around. There was no water supply in the basin and faucet which I reported. After sometime one person came and turned the tap and water was coming. He said it sholud be turned like that as if I don't know! Water was coming very slowly. Window AC was making a lot of noise. Perhaps it is badly in need of service. I could spot two naphthalene balls in the room! Perhaps there are a lot of insects. Some bad stench was coming in the room then and there. Bed linen was not changed. Only after repeated calls it was changed. Restaurant ambience needs improvement. Food is not bad.

The hotel is not accommodative. Closely packed rooms. No proper leg room. Clumsy hotel

Had a Decent stay. Had all Basic room features. Inhouse Restaurant very good.. nearby to bus stand , temple etc.. located on heavy traffic road. I recommend to Better call hotel directly for good rates.

The hotel's check-in service was efficient and the room was comfortable, clean and spacious. Drinking water, dental cleaning kit and soap were provided.
Staff were very helpful.
There's also a restaurant downstairs for convenient meals, as well as room service.
From my experience I can recommend Hotel Ramakrishna, Tiruvannamalai.

Clean

Spent a night yesterday. Room is comfortable. Vegetarian restaurant available with a limited capacity. No car parking. Cars are to be parked outside. On the main road. Security is available. Room service prompt. Courteous staff.

This is a regular & comfortable short stay place in tiruvannamalai. Very near the bus stand & has a restaurant in the ground floor with very good food. They are also renovating the rooms and should be even better once they complete it. Slightly high priced but strategically located and ease of access to the temple makes it a very good option.

I visited TV Malai on 17th and stayed till 18th. Stayed at a nearby lodge.

Could see your hotel close to the temple. Astonished by the courteous reception, tasty tiffin, served hot and especially at reasonable prices.

Visiting TV Malai is said to be a blessing. Your hotel at TV malai, so close to the temple with so much of focus on pilgrims is added advantage.

Please continue the good work. Would definitely recommend to my friends. Hats off to you all at the Hotel!

This is a very old star rated hotel in tiruvannamalai with both rooms and restaurant facility.
I recommend any tourist to stay here.
Price is bit costly, but compared to other hotels - the quality here is very good.

Pros- Good breakfast

Cons- reception staff needs more training- took very long to process my booking and asked many questions before I got my room. Once I got into my room, she kept calling room repeatedly to ask questions that were already in my booking voucher, gave me my breakfast coupon when I was checking out and asked how come I had finished my breakfast without the coupon?!
Staff answering phone for room service has issues understanding what is required. Keeps saying things opposite to what I ask. Bellman and waiters expect tips. One porter showed a face even the next day because I didn't tip him. Very basic hotel with bad arrangement of furniture also.

The hotel is really nice, rooms are spacious and clean, price is really reasonable, and it's not that far from the centre. It's also very good located if you're going to do Girivalam (Arunachala pradakshina), esp in the morning time. Last year we've started at 6 AM not far from the Ramana Maharshi ashram, and had to finish pradakshina at the late afternoon in a hot sun and very hectic traffic at the centre of Tiruvannamalai, but this time we started from the Ramakrishna Hotel at the same time, so we did the most uncomfortable part of the trip in early morning when there was no traffic in the city, so felt much less tired. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone, who wants some comfort in Tiruvannamalain for a nice price. The stuff is also nice and helpful, and ladies travelling alone will feel comfortable here.

The hotel is good in all aspects. Especially the food is extremely tasty with normal fee. Hotel doesn't have dedicated car parking.

Excellent Hotel with excellent service and excellent restaurant near Bus stand.
New Delux rooms are large and good when compared to the old Delux rooms which are of normal small rooms (tariff is same for new and old delux rooms).
I think the old delux rooms are given as economy room to the regular clients.
Except the old delux rooms, the Hotel scores excellent rating from my side in all category. Staffs are very helpful. Food is excellent. New delux rooms are very good. Location is near to bus-stand. Hope hotel management quickly renovate the old delux rooms as early as possible.

This is hotel in the heart of the town very close to the main bus stand. An average hotel good for a few days. One good thing about the hotel is that they have good restaurant and shop for tit bits on the ground floor. The food in the restaurant is tasty. The room is clean and tidy. Walking distance to the temple but away from Ramana Ashramam. The location is good but very close to the main road. A bit expensive for a non A.C room with very basic facilities. Their WiFi was not in order most of the time. The minor staffs were courteous and helpful.

One of the best Veg restaurant in thiruvanamalai, it's air conditioned and a fine dine restaurant Tasty Vegetarian food at reasonable price, very good and we enjoyed it a lot, Near thiruvanamalai bus stand,
