Nice enough stay with no real complaint except one. The daily rate for resort fees is simply calculated as a day. We arrived late the first day and departed very early on our last day. In this day and age the rate should be charged as a proportional amount of the time your are there not the blunt tool as used...very disappointing
Beigh was amazing! She was very attentive and made sure I had a great experience! I will definitely be coming back to get drinks and food.

Aside from being a super cute property, we’ve really enjoyed the really helpful staff. We’ve now stayed here twice and will continue to come back. This time we really appreciated William helping us get checked in much earlier than we anticipated. After a really long flight, he made our day!
It was an amazing experience, great hospitality. Lance and Earl from front desk was and is very accommodating, they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun. We had an awesome view of Waikiki, the ocean, Honolulu and the New Years Eve fireworks. Definitely will recommend to friends, and definitely come back with our family for another staycation!!!
We are a family of 4 with a dog traveling on military PCS orders. So it can be an extremely stressful time. From moving your entire house, to eventually making the move. Once we checked in, Heeh, made absolutely sure our stay would be smooth and stress-free. There was a hiccup with our reservation and there was a potential for us to have to change rooms because of a booking mistake made on the corporate side. Heeh, went out of his way to accommodate us and really ensure that our hotel stay was not going to be added to the pile of PCS stress. The room was beautiful. Had all the amenities we needed. The pool was very cute although we didn’t get much time to hang there. We tried the restaurant on Saturday evening and got to listen to some local live music that was really great. Overall I’d go out of my way to stay here because of the kindness of not only Heeh, but the entire staff. Everyone we encountered was so friendly. Thank you so much for everything! We truly appreciate it.
This was probably my 10th stay at The Ambassador Hotel of Waikiki and I look forward to my 11th! My room is always clean and comfortable. I look forward to coffee and breakfast at Favorite Son restaurant. Above all the location is perfect, you can get an ocean view room, easily leave without catching Waikiki traffic, or walk to the main strip every sunset!
Great location and far more spacious than the holiday inn which is outdated.
Everything was fine. The down side is if you I’ve the valet parking get up an hour early so you can get your car on time.

The team at The Ambassador does an amazing job everytime I stay there. Often times my stays are extended and they always accomidate my schedule. The staff in all areas are attentive and polite.
Not the best place to stay but that’s reflected in the room rate. Room appears to have been lightly updated but still has carpet floors. The worst part of the stay was the loud trash pickup each night in the wee hours. Really loud banging of dumpsters. Fortunate Son was ok for breakfast but had limited options. And of course they charge nightly junk fees for amenities that most don’t use.

The resort fee and parking are spendy.
The Ambassador Hotel was a fantastic location for our group of 30. It was close to beaches, parks, and shops. Lauren, in the group department, was great to work with and a wonderful communicator. The rooms were clean and the mini fridges were a huge help.

Views are beautiful, great convenient location, and excellent service! I had a very nice stay here with friends and we enjoyed frolicking in the pool very much. Great places to eat nearby.
