was okay
Pros:

Nice hotel, very comfortable bed and location was good as well

Cons:

you could hear everything that was going on outside the door and the staff was supposed to help me with a change with my booking and respond to a message from booking.com. I asked multiple times and the subject still doesn’t seem to be solved.

Close walking distance to lots of things.
Pros:

The check-in desk staff and the valet staff were very helpful and friendly. We liked that we could leave our bags before we could check in and also when we checked out, but weren't ready to go to the airport. They gave us a key card so we could use the bathroom or the pool until we left. The location was excellent for walking around to the beach and restaurants. The balcony area in our room was nice. The pool area was a relaxing place to hang out, too.

Cons:

I didn't like the echoing in the hallway from other guests. I think the maid should come every day to makeup the room and check on towels, supplies. Not every other day. It's too humid in Honolulu to use only one towel for two days. It never dries out. One of the perks of staying in a hotel is that someone makes your bed and tidies up. That needs to happen on a daily basis.

Pros:

Rooms were clean, I was in a corner room which was quite spacious. Location is fine, about a 10-15 minute walk into central Waikīkī.

Cons:

Towards the end of my stay water started leaking out from under the floor boards and down rhe walls so do keep that in mind if the weather is wet.

It was awesome!!
Pros:

It was a great experience staying at the Ambassador Waikiki Hotel. Tha place is so accessible and the room is big with complete amenities. The staff is also very helpful and accommodating with special mention to Ms Schereen Numasaki who assisted me from the start of my check in until I check out. She was very supportive and a big big help to me who travelled first time in Hawaii. I had an excellent stay at the hotel and will definitely come back to Ambassador Waikiki Hotel soon.

Pros:

Thanks to Everyone for Making My First Hawaii Trip A Beautiful Experience! The Valet Team, The Front Desk Team, The Restaurant Team and The Housekeeping Team. Were All Prompt, Professional, Pleasant, Energetic, Informative, Helpful and Made My Family and Myself Feel Very Special. The Weather was crazy the first couple days but, that didn’t keep a Smile on Everyone’s Face as They All Greeted Us Each Time They Saw Us. Always With A Sense Of Urgency. Everyone stopped and briefly spoke with us. Expressing their Gratitude for Our Visit and apologizing for the weather. This Location is THE BEST! Thanks Again Family! That’s What You Made Us Feel Like! Family that was visiting from out of State!

A mid-level hotel close to everything in Waikiki.
Pros:

The Ambassador hotel is a Hilton branded hotel under the Tapestry brand. The hotel is located in Waikiki and is a walkable distance to most shopping and restaurants. We arrived on a mid-day with our own vehicle and had to valet park with a daily charge. Check-in is done right next to the valet and then you can head to the elevators.

Once you exit the elevator to your floor, you will find that your room door is outside. I can see how this is probably great on a normal sunny day, but we came during some of the bad storms and 40+ mph winds, so unfortnately, our balcony glass howled all day and night.

The rooms are fairly modem with little wear and they are a decent size. Beds were a little hard and the pillows were a bit too soft, but still decent. The bathroom was also mostly clean, but the water pressure was not great, but at least you had hot water. Internet was not the fastest, but I was still able to do some work.

As a Diamond member you get $18 per person a day in food credit, but the only place you can use it is at the onsite restaurant. The only problem is that the restaurant has a very limited menu, so you can tire pretty quickly of the options. Luckily, you are in walking distance of a lot of food including two different food truck ares a few blocks from the hotel.

Cute decor in the lobby and rooms.
Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious.
I forgot a toothbrush and the front desk had extra of anything you could need.
The restaurant was excellent.
Great service from everyone I met.
I stayed during that rain storm and the weather didn’t wake me up once, it was nice and quiet.
I would definitely stay again!

Excellent Stay with Outstanding Service
Pros:

I had a wonderful stay at the Ambassador Hotel Waikiki, the hotel was centrally located to many attractions the interior spaces seemed fresh or possibly newly renovated

The front desk staff provided a great first impression — professional, welcoming, and very informative, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The valet team was also consistently prompt, courteous, and efficient throughout my stay.

The attached restaurant, Favorite Son, was a highlight. The food was excellent — I highly recommend the pizza — as well as the coffee which was fantastic.

I especially want to thank Juana, who provided exceptional service during several of my visits. She was warm, attentive, incredibly efficient, and consistently accurate with every order. Her genuine smile and upbeat energy made each visit feel welcoming.

Great staff, great food, and a great stay in Waikiki. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
