BLUF: Strong value play in Waikiki—especially if you’re leveraging Hilton Honors perks—but the on-site breakfast experience misses the mark.
We had a great overall stay, made even better by using Hilton Honors points and the fourth-night-free benefit. That alone makes this property punch above its weight in terms of value.
A few highlights stood out right away. Parking pricing for Diamond members is genuinely excellent for Waikiki—no small thing given how painful parking can be in this area. The valet team was fast and efficient every time we came and went, which kept things friction-free. Staff across the board were friendly and easy to work with, and the complimentary beach gear was a great touch—simple, practical, and exactly what you want when you’re trying to maximize time near the water.
Where things fell short was the on-site restaurant, Favorite Son Waikiki. If you’re an early riser, plan ahead. Breakfast didn’t open until after 7 a.m., and there wasn’t any real coffee option before then. In-room coffee also felt like a miss—tea-bag style packets with an electric kettle instead of a standard drip setup.
Once breakfast did open, the menu lacked the basics you’d expect at most Hilton properties. No simple “2 eggs, toast, fruit, and protein” option, and even something as standard as toast with jelly wasn’t available. Not a dealbreaker—but definitely noticeable if you’re used to a more predictable Hilton breakfast experience.
Bottom line: Great stay, excellent use of points, and strong operational touches (parking, valet, staff). Just don’t count on the breakfast—grab coffee elsewhere and you’ll enjoy this place a lot more.
Great location and our front of house guy was great! The pool and gym were fab
The door rattles probably should have told someone
I live the pool and the restaurant and the staff and the rooms. I loved everything about the facility and my stay. I LOVEEEE HAWAII!

Our whole experience was great! We came late in the night and the staff was still very open to have us and served us quickly! Our meal was such an interesting combo of flavors that worked super well! Also, Kama was such a great server that made us feel at home with his good mood and convo! He also made good recommendations on the meal, was very attentive and engaging, and was so nice and friendly. Go Kama!
Staff were super friendly and helpful, great location, great facilities. Had a great time.
Our room only got cleaned twice out of the 7 days we were there.
Me and my husband on a honeymoon. We had the best time here at ambassador. The pool could’ve been a little bigger but overall 10/10. All the staff were amazing but Will at the front desk was phenomenal. Made check in so easy and smooth.
Such an awesome stay! Brandon the GM is so accommodating and friendly. We ended up getting a pool cabana the first day and it was so much fun to get drinks and sit by the pool. So relaxing and the drinks were delicious. We also went down to Favorite Son for dinner that night. Such a perfect hotel for friends to have fun together. The room was so new and clean with the cutest decor. The location was perfect because it is almost at the end of the strip so it is calmer but so close to everything. Loved everything!
We are here unexpectedly - month long stay. The staff has been fantastic. Will at the front desk, Rowena and housekeeping.
Our family had a great stay! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend for TLA if available!

The location was perfect: close to waikiki beach, restaurants, and nightlife. The restaurant on the ground floor had great breakfasts and dinners. An easy choice after a late check in. We checked in twice: once before and once after a cruise. Will worked with us the first time and was exceptional providing information. Which is something in itself after our 14 hour flight. Shereen helped us the second time. We had requested an early check in (we are Hilton gold) and Shereen was able to make that happen. We had a nice room with a great beach view. Even the valets were helpful with an off the cuff beach restaurant suggestion. And all this the week after the major Kona low storms.
Fantastic breakfast included here. Phenomenal options (towels, bikes, etc) all included as well. The staff keeps things clean and continued to provide us excellent service and smiles throughout our trip.
Was hesitant at first - but turned out to be a fantastic stay. Highly recommend and get the inclusive breakfast if it is an option!
It was a bit overpriced but that’s Hawai’i.
I wanted to share a review after debating whether or not to reserve this hotel. We have previously stayed at Hilton Village and loved it but thought we'd give this a try. We went as a family of four and here were the pros and cons.
Pros: Comfy beds and pillows, nice bathrooms, mini fridge, hotel had very few people staying when we were there (guessing due to recent storms), pool area is nice and clean (small pool), decent location - about 10 min walk to beach and restaurants.
Cons: Bathroom was very dirty when we arrived (tons of black hair all over floor and dirty toilet) - we asked for it to be cleaned and they showed up 2 days later to clean (I had cleaned it myself prior to this), room is on the small side - no couch or sitting area, no coffee maker (just pour over coffee - like tea bags and it was gross!), rooms have old glass doors so lots of street noise, room above us had a dog that would bark for long periods of time.
Overall a very budget hotel with decent beds. We wouldn't stay here again due to location, street noise and lack of cleanliness but it might be ok for just adults who are up for lots of walking and average rooms.
