A view of the OSU Stadium and a clean, friendly, and beautiful hotel that made our trip even more memorable! The Blackwell is the place to stay!

The room was exactly as described. The location was perfect. I will definitely book in the near future. Go Bucks!!!!!!!

My husband and I and my little dog Shiori stayed at this wonderful place for 4 nights in Columbus . We needed to take Shiori to the Columbus University Medical Hospital for a check up and then an MRI. So we were not sure when we were going home. This hotel was so flexible with our schedule! Plus they had a free shuttle to take us to the hospital. People were SUPER friendly. The rooms were very clean. Right on the campus...we walked around and checked out all of the restaurants, bars, etc... Yes I would stay here again.

A comfortable and welcoming hotel, great location on campus convenient to walk to High Street and campus locations, quiet guestroom, good food and drink at the bar, decent breakfast buffet, and excellent staff. I hope I have an opportunity to return!

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful guest rooms. On this visit, I accidentally left some items in the room safe. I was notified by the hotel within an hour of my departure with a complete inventory of the items and was offered options for returning them. It's so nice to have that trust with the property and their staff. The Blackwell's consistency is outstanding.....I have never had a negative experience.

We went to The Blackwell to stay for a concert. NE tour with Toni Braxton & Boys II Men. The concert was outstanding. 3rd time seeing NE. The hotel was very beautiful and decorated nicely. The walls are thin. I could hear the person coughing in the room next to mine. IT is okay, the comfortable bed made up for it. The only hiccup was the cleanliness of the bistro and restaurant. The floor were not clean. We were the 1st be seating for dinner and when they pulled out the chairs, there was food debris and crumbs from the meal seating earlier. The same with the bistro. We sat by the fireplace after the concert and the area had a lot of food debris. There was silverware on the floor by the bar. The room was not cheap. So, the floor should not be in that condition. I do not know if they were short staffed but a minor detail like clean floors would go a long way. Other than that, I would come back and stay at the hotel for another event.

Great place to stay, extremely convenient to the Schottenstein Center/Value City Arena, Ohio Stadium, and anywhere on campus at the Ohio State University. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Loved the OSU themed decor and the view of Ohio Stadium. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning. Apparently there may be a shuttle available—ask early!

Excellent location and service. I would highly recommend the hotel and location, especially if you are visiting The Ohio State or the Schottenstein Center.

Great location to the medical campus. Rooms are clean and the TV is great. Nice, warm blanket in the closet for extreme cold weather. Quiet rooms. Friendly staff and good food in the restaurant and lounge. You can't beat it!

We stayed here because my sister was having early morning surgery at OSU Hospital. The valet was great, they had my vehicle ready to go at 4:30 am day of departure. The front desk was very helpful. The beds were comfy and had extra pillows which I love! It was a great location!

Excellent location for anyone visiting OSU. I was visiting my niece for her birthday. I really enjoyed being so close to her dorm.
The valet in and out service was very prompt and convenient.
I was disappointed with the breakfast room service. Several of our items were cold and it was expensive.

I had a fantastic stay at The Blackwell Inn in Columbus, OH. The hotel is elegant, quiet, and extremely well maintained, making it a perfect place to relax or focus on work. The staff was professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from check-in to check-out.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with great attention to detail. The location is excellent—right on the Ohio State University campus—yet it still feels peaceful and upscale. Dining at the hotel was also a great experience, with high-quality food and excellent service.

Overall, The Blackwell Inn delivers a refined, comfortable experience with outstanding hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Columbus.

This place is such a gem, beautifully decorated and so comfortable, kind and welcoming staff, softest bedding and comfortable beds and chairs , big and sparkly clean windows! Too many wonderful amenities to mention ruin, come and experience yourself !

I had an out of town doctors appointment and this was the closest hotel for us to stay. They provided transportation to and from the appointment and even took us to dinner in the short north after! I will be staying here from now on. We had a great stay and are looking forward to many more. Thank you to the kind staff that helped us to figure out where to go for dinner, and even let us vote in their gingerbread house competition!

This experience was far beyond our expectations. The room, food, staff, and atmosphere were all perfect. Our stay was perfect from start to finish and the attention to details that the staff provided us was thoughtful and kind. The chef is top notch and the food was better than we had ever hoped for!

Grreat spot if in town for an OSU sporting event. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The two night minimum is a bit of bummer.

Best location if you have business at Ohio State - it is basically on campus and the East Lane parking garage is very convenient although if you want In / Out privileges the Valet parking is a better deal. The front desk staff are very friendly, the rooms are comfortable, and you pay for the convenience of being close. If you are going to a football game, this would be THE Place to stay given the location - would plan ahead because it books early. We did not eat at the restaurant while we were there since there are many places around in Columbus.

An excellent hotel conveniently located near the OSU stadium. The staff are exceptional. The rooms are large, thoughfully furnished and well maintained. The restaurants offer a delicious variety of food. The price is very fair for the value.

Noisy toliets and rooms. Booked presidental suite and was given a standard room instead! Great location, but was not compensated for screw up in the reservation!
