We are currently staying here now. This is our 5th or 6th time at this property. We live locally and typically stay here when there is an emergency at our property. Normally everyone is so fantastic, however tonight was horrible.
We are here 3 nights and I had to extend my night tonight.
I have a special needs son, so it’s not easy to just pack up and leave. If he wasn’t with me, after my treatment tonight I would have. Everyone was great as usual, until tonight when I went to get water at their water bar. No one was in there, their customer service representative (whom was not wearing a name badge and refused her name) was by herself. She scolded me for getting water (I was using their free cups they provided to fill up water in their cup and then take that cup to put in my son’s water cup). I have no idea why it would matter since I was using their provided cup to take the water. I couldn’t hear her at one point as she was wearing a mask. Since my son has an autoimmune issue (which she knew as I told her earlier in day) I asked if there was something I needed to be concerned about since she was wearing a mask (my thoughts honestly were maybe she was contagious with something or she knew others were sick). I just wanted the heads up. You could tell she honestly just didn’t want be at work as once I really looked at her, her appearance was like she just got out of bed (which I didn’t first notice as I wasn’t looking). I unfortunately needed to extend my time another night and she was the only person working. She was extremely rude. When I finally couldn’t take anymore, and said why are you so rude? She lost it. She pretended to extend my time but didn’t and gave me blank keys.
I asked for her supervisor and name and she refused both info.
I told her I would be posting about my experience as I couldn’t believe how rude she was.
She said she would call the police if I didn’t leave. I told her to please do. She obviously didn’t as she was just being a bully. I went back to my room and luckily I had my original key as hers were no good she gave me, and waited a bit and called to talk to someone.
Someone else answered but I was on hold too long, so I walked back. Julian who helped me originally check in was there. He is very nice. He said my room was never extended by her (so she never did it and lied that she did) and he did it. She aggressively told him not to give me her name. I felt bad for him as he was so nice and you can tell this woman is a bully. He told me to talk w the manager. I know he had to finish out a shift w this lady. I would not like to work w her for sure.
She clearly hates her job. I am a long time loyal customer of Marriott. In over 20 years of my loyalty I have never experienced anything like this at any Marriott property.
I would say this property is very nice, and not inexpensive, so I expect the service to match what you pay for.
Literally everyone was kind except her. I give a 1 star as I am sure she will get away with it. I got the feeling like nothing will happen to her when I asked how do I complain about this. Customers don’t really matter anymore.
So if you stay here and see an unkept employee that looks like she just got out of bed and didn’t even try to get ready for work who wears a mask and won’t reply to any questions, then try to avoid her. Unfortunately I don’t know her name and she doesn’t need to wear a name badge.
Rachel at front desk was very sweet, the lady who runs the morning breakfast is extremely nice, the gentleman who worked w Rachel I saw for two nights was kind, the housekeepers are nice, and Julian was nice. However, there is 1 rotten apple with a mask that is not kind and will act like you are the bad person when you stand up for yourself. So beware. I am sad as she ruined this for my son and I.

Best experience
The bed was very comfortable everything from the firmness to the bedding and pillow was perfect.
The heater or air vent was noisy
We had a great one night stay due to our electricity being out at our house. Needed a dog friendly place. This property could use a paint and face lift, but it was clean and comfy and the service was impeccable. The woman who checked us in was beyond helpful and accommodating to our needs. It’s labeled continental breakfast but to our delight it was a full hot buffet. Get there before closing because they do close on the dot! Bed was super comfy and the temp in the room was perfect with AC. Also, didn’t hear our neighbors at all!
I like it and will be back to staying in the area again.
This property is run down. The curtains were ripped, the furniture is outdated. They really need to renovate and change the carpets. I asked for non smoking and it smelled like cigarettes
We took our dogs out of the room at 0900 for the day and thus requested housekeeping services. We came back at 7:30 pm and no one had been there.
It’s clean
People eating n drinking by pool and I can hear noise from upstairs n next to my room so hard to rest
Unlike the other reviews, my friend and I had a positive experience at this hotel. We had a two bedroom suite. We took advantage of having a kitchen which was stocked with plates, utensils and cooking supplies. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water in the shower with good water pressure and the space was roomy. The laundry facility was next to our room so it was convenient to do laundry. You will need quarters since the machines don’t accept credit cards. My friend used the gym several times during our trip and was satisfied with the gym. There is plenty of parking for a fee. The hotel is walking distance to Trader Joe’s, Costco, coffee shops and restaurants which was a bonus. The free breakfast buffet had eggs, breakfast meat which they rotated each day, make your own waffles, oatmeal, muffins, bread, English muffins, bagels, fresh fruit, yogurt, milk and milk substitutes, cereal, juice, etc. There is a swimming pool on the property which was nice to have to pass some time. Around the pool, there are lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. You will need to bring a towel to the pool. The elevators worked fine during our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful from the front desk to the housekeepers and breakfast staff. The carpets do look worn and probably need to be replaced, but other than that we were satisfied with the hotel. We also used the business center in the lobby to print boarding passes.
Ants in the first room we got. Front Desk person was very nice and got us a second room quickly.
Parking charge was not explained nor were we told to put the card on the dashboard. Fortunately I saw it before I turned in.
