White Sands Hotel

The property is a cool hotel, clean and tidy and also really central so easy to get to the shops of Honolulu.

Location is great. The reception folks were so polite and friendly. We really appreciated a chance to rent (for free) the sun chairs and small surf boards to go to the beach. The bar is nice

Can't understand all the great reviews. Overall, the hotel needed a good clean but we specifically asked 2 different reception staff to have the floor of our room cleaned and it never was. Room wasn't serviced during our 3-night stay. Another guest was assigned our room and came right through the door unexpectedly. Noise at night from the bar right under our window. Confusion from us and staff as to what was included in the food/drink credit. Internet would drop out when simply browsing. Incorrect final amount taken and had to ask for a refund which I'm told is coming. Good location.

Great location and such a cool vibe the hotel had. There is a great bar with a fantastic happy hour. We loved our stay. Easy to walk to anywhere you want too in Waikiki.

Mayggan at front desk is,awesome- I checked in after a long international flight. She immediately gave a calming yet friendly presence. Room was great, bed and sheets were comfortable. Location is good.

We stayed 3 nights at The Whites Sands during our time in Waikiki. The location was perfect, walking distance to dining and shopping. The staff was so friendly and helpful during our stay, RJ, Kendall, and Maygar to name a few! We spent a lot of time in the pool and at the pool bar. We loved the retro Hawaii style of the hotel and the rooms. Our bed was comfy and the room was clean. We had a pool view room and while the bar and pool could get a little loud at night, they closed at 10 so we had no trouble sleeping. We would definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing time celebrating graduation during May Day weekend at White Sands Hotel Honolulu! The event was fantastic, with a great DJ keeping the energy high all night and a wonderful lei-making activity that added a special local touch to the celebration.

A special shout-out to Miguel for making check-in smooth and welcoming. His friendly service helped set the tone for a memorable stay.

I can't wait for their next event! To top it all off, Green Lady Speakeasy was an incredible hidden gem, such a unique atmosphere and the perfect place to end the evening.

White Sands is a hidden gem. The pool/bar area is lovely and feels like it's not in the middle of Waikiki. It's peaceful with a friendly, casual atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable although I personally prefer a firmer mattress. But everything is clean and the decor is fun. I would most certainly return!

Great location, great vibe, loved the jacuzzi and pool, food. Friendly staff. Definitely my new favorite spot in Honolulu

Our recent kamaʻāina stay at White Sands Hotel was exceptional. Kaila and her team delivered warm aloha, thoughtful service, and unforgettable hospitality, thus creating the perfect weekend!

The rooms, bar and pool area are pretty cute and everyone that worked there was super friendly. My only negative comment would be our rooms did not get cleaned at all while there and the shower appeared to be made only for very short people (I’m only 5’6) special shoutout to Sean Paul who was very pleasant during our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay very relaxing. The staff were friendly and professional. Kaila, the manager, was very helpful throughout my stay, always making sure everything was going smoothly. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good service and a comfortable place to stay.

Great little, cool hotel in downtown Waikiki. Love the pool and the bar. We got a room with a Lanai next to the pool, fantastic! Staff are super friendly and helpful and a very clean property. Everything you want to see in Waikiki is walking distance from the White Sands. Worth a trip there.
