Great Bar oasis in the city
Pros:

Thank you Carlee for the excellent service at the bar. It was the best pina colada I ever had. 10/10 for the food the drinks and the vibes. Heyday was a little gem in city. Wish I knew about the White Sands when we were booking our room - I would have loved to stay here instead.

Pros:

Very nice atmosphere for couples. Small but comfy vibe. Double queen bed room was a little smaller than expected but overall it was decent. Location wise it’s in a very popular area but not directly on the beach and the streets are a little run down nearby but so is a lot of honolulu. The staff was amazing and we loved getting to know them especially RJ who was over the top! Bathroom was nice but keep in mind shower space is limited but had a nice space for a closet with an ironing board. Would definitely come back again!

Authentic boutique hotel experience
Pros:

The hotel is super nice. the authentic hawaiian vibe of the hotel is indescribable. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures. The food is delicious and RJ makes the best coffees. One thing that is a little less appealing: the bathroom. I expected a bit more of that.

Rough shape, rough vibes ... past it's prime (if it had one)
Pros:

Picture a once-quaint Waikiki hotel fallen into disrepair. Staff was polite and helpful, but this entire property simply needs to be shuttered and given a major overhaul. A room re-flooring project across from our room was unbearably loud, and left trash & hazards in the hallway. Our room was well-worn..plenty of carpet stains and even a little insect critter to greet us on the pillow. This place might be fine for single folks on a budget, or people who don't mind homeless weed-smokers on the street outside, or carrying luggage up flights of stairs (no elevator), but families and couples looking for a pleasant Waikiki experience should head south toward better properties fronting Kuhio or Kalakaua Ave's. Even if you're trying to save money, there are better budget options all over Waikiki. I hope this place finds it's good vibes again someday, but that's not the case right now.

Quick Stop on way to Tokyo
Pros:

Quick one night stay. Great hospitality and was made to feel very welcomed upon arrival. Very affordable and cute property. Hard to beat for the price.
