Delta Hotels by Marriott Daytona Beach Oceanfront

This is an 8 story building with one side facing the ocean and the other side facing the street. Bed was comfortable and room overall clean. Everything else was lacking. This is a Delta by Marriott hotel and yet I was referred to as “my dear / young lady / sweet” and such by front desk and restaurant personnel. If swimming pool is important, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, because it’s not heated at all.

In Daytona for our wedding weekend and had reservations at another hotel, but ended up asking for a refund and searching for another place. Found this hotel because friends recommended, and it was a GREAT experience! Renea and Ulandah were awesome!!! Welcoming, accommodating and friendly as can be. We ended having a great time, and these ladies made it all possible. We both agreed that every time we go back to Daytona, we won’t stay anywhere else. Entire staff was friendly, and these ladies made property was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend 😎

This hotel is beautiful. Everything looks new or recently updated. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant were friendly and professional. Our room had plenty of space- we didn't feel cramped at all- and there was even a small balcony with chairs. We only ate at the restaurant once; it was tasty and not overly expensive. What made the stay truly outstanding was the beach access right from the pool area and the fire pits and seating at the patio area. Unfortunately it was too cold to take advantage of the water, but we spent time walking on the expansive beach and it was calm and lovely. Then we spent time on the pool deck seating as the sun went down, which was a relaxing way to end the day. The fire pits were lit, and after dinner we spent time out there as well. We don't get much time just to sit back in our daily life, so this was really a treat.

Had a great time and excellent breakfast service by Akos! Definitely coming back next year.

The staff was friendly. The room was modern. The view was nice. The restaurant food was good, and reasonably priced. At night, there is a fire pit to sit by. Beach access is easy. There is also a public beach access next to the hotel.

Have you ever had that feeling that you wish the calendar was wrong and you want just one more day at a hotel?! We felt that way today as we left the Daytona Beach - Delta Hotels (DH)

We booked the DH because it was on the beach, did not require valet and had both a restaurant & bar onsite. When it’s rainy and cold in Daytona Beach, you don’t want to go very far.

Our checkin went smoothly and we were recognized as frequent Marriott customers. The Front Desk agent, Renea, was very efficient as she told us about the amenities of the room and hotel. We found her friendly and delightful to talk to.

We had booked an ocean front, 2 queen beds room. It came with a fridge, microwave and safe. The view was of the pool deck and ocean - just gorgeous. Daytona Beach allows vehicles on the sand during certain times but this week we did not see any cars, just pedestrians and bicycles.

Every DH employee we encountered were friendly and often asked if we were enjoying our stay or needed assistance of any kind.

Our room had daily service and the young lady left us additional bottles of water daily.

On our last day we enjoyed breakfast at the onsite restaurant. A young lady named Kanisha waited on us and was great. You could order ala carte or have the buffet. We chose the buffet and it was very good. Coffee service is self serve and we like that as we are big coffee drinkers. The onsite cocktail bar was well stocked and busy every night we were there.

The front desk staff were great and at checkout, Ulandah was excellent. We discussed a return visit this summer and she was quick to advise us to book soon as they would be booked up soon.

While this is the off season for Daytona Beach, we were surprised to see the DH booked solid for the nights we were there and we know why. The amenities were excellent and the Staff were delightful.

If you’re planning a trip to Daytona Beach in the future, please consider the Delta Hotel by Marriott.

Fire pit and cocktails

Everything was exceptional from check-in to checkout! Great service!

We had an amazing experience getting our photos taken at Daytona Beach by Shantarra. She was very professional, patient, and made us feel so comfortable the entire time. She knew the best spots and lighting, and the photos turned out absolutely beautiful. We are so happy with the results and will treasure these memories forever. Highly recommend!
