Room was nice. Pool was good
Our room was right beside the ice machine. Went off several times in middle of night. Room walls were paper thin. Wasn’t told about parking fee until checked in.
We loved our stay at the Delta. The greeting right to the exit was great.
We stayed here for 1 night. Our room was spacious. Love love the balcony ocean view. The kids loved the pool area. Very friendly staff. My only negative would be how small their elevators were and felt cramped with people and luggage but there were two set of elevators to choose from and the stairs were not bad to climb.
we did not feel comfortable staying here. Parking IS NOT FREE as advertised. First 3 cars free, first come first serve, then you pay for city parking. The one level old hotel did not look safe to us, and we feared bed bugs or a break in. We left. We booked it for our anniversary according to reviews, but we are absolutely shocked it had high ratings

Shank was absolutely amazing! She did a good job and was not awkward at all. She was sweet but also helped us get that professional experience! The location and atmosphere were absolutely beautiful along with the sunset. I believe the value and quality of the photos when I seen them were so good. I would highly recommend her and come back again! Afterwards she took her own time with us as well and was very understanding and professional. She has very good experience and helped us a lot. She laughed with us and just made the overall experience so much better than we thought!
The rooms are pleasant and well equipped. The restaurant staff for the evening service are very friendly. The dinner is good. The outdoor pool with its bar, as well as the direct access to the beach, are very enjoyable.
But...
Two major issues mean we won’t return.
First, although the rooms were fully prepaid in advance and confirmed via Booking (3 rooms, 4 nights), we were asked to pay again for one of the rooms due to a payment issue between Booking and the hotel, entirely unrelated to us. The hotel itself confirmed that the reservation was indeed for 3 rooms, highlighting that this was purely a technical issue. If we refused, we were told we would only have access to two rooms. The only alternative was to resolve their issue ourselves with Booking, which cost me one hour on the phone in the lobby. Making the customer deal with this is unacceptable.
Second, at breakfast, a clearly intoxicated waiter (in jogging suit, not in uniform) served us. He was shaking, spilling drinks and cutlery, smelled strongly of stale smoke, and even had to sit down next to us to take orders because he was unsteady on his feet. We immediately informed reception during breakfast, yet he continued serving us. We later learned he was dismissed the same day, but by then the damage was done. Completely inappropriate for a hotel of this standard.
The reception staff promised compensation for our bad experiences, but it never happened, and the follow-up from management was generic and careless: they did not even ask for our version of events and got our nationality wrong, showing how little attention is paid to guests.
This was my fourth stay in Daytona Beach in a hotel of this category—the first and last in this one. I have never had a similar experience elsewhere.
A shame, as the hotel itself is nice, but the management is very disappointing. With a better customer policy, the rating could have been a 9.
Nice hotel, directly at the oceanfront. New rooms (probably freshly renovated). Good food. Free breakfast for Marriott platinium, titanium and ambassador.

This is my second time staying at this property. It is right on the beach and far enough away from the spring breakers. The restaurant is convenient and has good food and drinks. The staff is always kind. There is a pool, jacuzzi, and fire pits. Everything you need is here.
They seemed a little short staffed in the restaurant but it was still a good experience.

This is an 8 story building with one side facing the ocean and the other side facing the street. Bed was comfortable and room overall clean. Everything else was lacking. This is a Delta by Marriott hotel and yet I was referred to as “my dear / young lady / sweet” and such by front desk and restaurant personnel. If swimming pool is important, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, because it’s not heated at all.
