Pros:

Das Hotel befindet sich in ausgezeichneter Lage in der Nähe des alten Hafens wo viele Aktivitäten beginnen. Es ist wirklich ruhig trotz Bars rund ums Hotel . Dass Zimmer war sauber , der Service schnell und gründlich. Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Frühstück absolut ausreichend und gut organisiert. Gerne wieder .

Cons:

Das Hotel ist doch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Mich stört sowas absolut nicht da es es sauber war allerdings sind die Fenster insbesondere die Dichtungen nichtmehr zeitgemäß und auch nichtmehr wirklich dicht . Das führte zumindest am kalten Morgen im Badezimmer zu Durchzug der durchaus unangenehm war .Vielleicht die Fenster oder zumindest die Dichtungen erneuern.

Location for Reyk is great. Breakfast is good.

Cons:

Having The Irishman across the street or Monkey's to the rear makes it a bit noisy. Place is showing its age a bit but still a good value for the money. We bring groups of people to Iceland and travel the ring road a couple times a year. We try to start and end at Klopp. We would like to have a point of contact to book group reservations with for a couple reasons. One is that we reserve more than 5 rooms, but your policy won't allow us to do that easily. Another is that we should be getting a better rate than what we get through Booking.com, but your website has not always been cooperative. Also could use a designated parking spot for drop-off and pick-up. Appreciate a response. Len

Excellent location and wonderful staff
Pros:

Location in the interesting part of the city was fantastic. Brilliant to be relatively close to the #6 bus stop for tour and airport pick-ups and drop-off. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Basic standard but quite ok for a short stay.

Perfekt für einen kurzen Aufenthalt
Pros:

Die perfekte Lage, dass das Zimmer ruhig war und auch die Freundlichkeit der meisten Mitarbeitenden (mit Einschränkungen).

Cons:

Die Mitarbeiterin, die bei meiner Ankunft um ca 01:00 Uhr anwesend war: Kompetenz und Kundenorientierung durchaus verbesserungswürdig - ich stellte den Preis, den sie verrechnen wollte in Frage, was sie unangemessen konterte. Erst nachdem ich ihr meine Buchung zeigte die klar einen niedrigeren Preis auswies zeigte, ruderte sie zurück.

Pros:

I would stay here again. It was perfectly located. A short walk to bus stop #6 where all the tours and airport bus stops. The rooms have black out curtains and I slept very well. My room faced the back courtyard and not the main street so it was quiet at night. My only complaint, like many others have mentioned, the lack of partition between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. It's just a short curtain so the floor around the toilet would get very wet. Other than that, I had no concerns with this hotel.

Pros:

Friendly reception staff. Always helpful & answered any questions I had.
Pros: location, hot water, comfortable bed, front reception, nice partial view with big windows, spacious
Cons: I was on the 5th floor and found it to be outdated showing much wear & tear, shower should have an enclosure or a longer contain as the floor gets very wet (I used towels on the floor to help), only three small steps outside to enter hotel,; no ramp, early noise each morning around 7 am from possible housekeeping

I really enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.

Location was great for walking around, restaurants surrounded the hotel. I stayed in a room with a double bed and had a
fantastic view of the bay and mountains. It was great.

Could have had some colors on the walls and local art.
