Great value and a comfortable property to stay at with friendly staff.
Pros:

The location was very central. It was in an area that isn't as busy as other properties on Kalakaua, however, still very accessible to the beach and shopping areas. A bit of a more quieter area. Appreciated that the elevator wait wasn't as long as other properties. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Cons:

There was only things that I could think of in terms of a complaint and that is that sometimes at times hot water was hard to come by. The other is that I would be weary to be in a room that has a connecting door. I had one in my room and I could hear my neighbors speak and their dog bark, Overall I think that those were minor dislikes that I had, and if there was a complaint, the staff was very wiling to accommodate and move me to a better location.

Not terrible, but I would not stay here again.
Pros:

Good location. Decent coffee and restaurant on site.

Cons:

The room was dirty. Lots of settled dust in the room, hair in the sheets, etc. Staff was not very friendly at times.

Loved the bungalow style vibes. Amazing staff and perfect location away from the crazy traffic but steps away to it too
Pros:

We’re very happy with our choice to stay at Surfjack. The kids even got to meet Jack himself! The hotel had plenty of events, food and drink specials and was conveniently located between rhe main strip and canal for those nice morning strolls. This was a nice getaway from the typical packed luxury resort and felt like how all hotels in Hawaii should traditionally be. Our only issue was the hot water as it only worked for half of our trip. There was only one day of cold water whereas the other days were warm to hot but the customer service and attentiveness from staff were beyond exceptional. It felt genuine and we appreciated being heard from the team as they did their best to accommodate. I would say my only suggestion is to upgrade the water heaters but aside from that everything and everyone we encountered was beyond perfect.

ペット可のホテルというじぜんの告知が無かった。
I would hold Booking.com responsible for this.
部屋は動物の消臭剤の臭いで臭かった。
設備は古くて、シャワーのお湯が出たり出なかったり。洗面所のお湯は出なかった。
Booking.comでの予約ではいつもセカンドクラスの部屋が割り当てられるという印象。

Very good boutique hotel well located in Waikiki
Pros:

Very good boutique hotel, comfortable clean rooms, located within easy walk to Waikīkī beach and central area. Staff were excellent, always helpful, and on my return stay there within the one week I had in Hawaii I was given a free room upgrade. Good meals at Mahina and Sun’s.

Cons:

No luggage storage, other than that, nothing.

Aloha vibes in laid-back comfort
Pros:

Great spot off the main roads that is quieter and more personable than the larger hotels. The staff were fantastic, rooms were clean and well appointed with comfortable bedding. The lobby and pool areas offer great places to hang out throughout all times of day. Coffee shop and restaurant on premises were quality, with good menu options and excellent service. I’ve stayed at many hotels in Honolulu, and this is a centrally located, solid choice that I would choose again for short or long stays. Don’t pass it up!

The hotel is amazing, and the location is great—close to everything. The staff are extremely friendly and polite. The hotel is also super clean and well organized. Everything feels very clean, new, and well taken care of. I was truly impressed with this hotel.

The Surfjack: An Unexpected Treat
Pros:

This was an unexpected treat. For years, we stayed near Diamond Head, but the staff was incredibly kind and helpful at The Surfjack and the parking was so convenient (never had an issue finding a space). We plan to come back soon!

Fantastic experience on our move to Hawai'i!
Pros:

Whether you're here for a long time, a good time, or both, Surfjack is the bomb.

It's in the perfect corner of Waikiki so you can come and go fighting "less" traffic, the beach is a short walk through a beautiful park, there arent a million people walking down the side walk all day, but youre right next door to all that chaos if you hop one street over.

Surfjack's staff really made our stay. Everyone here was so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel at home. Thanks especially to Eugiene, Hoku, and Mark (in order of vehicle towing capacity)!

The overall hotel has a really fun lively atmosphere with events and live musicians almost daily. The restraunt in the hotel is also really good. Open, comfortable, laidback vibe in the lobby and pool area.

We got a queen suite, it was spacious and comfortable. My mom slept on the pull out couch for a week but prefered the couch to the pull out bed. Id say the queen suite can fit 3.5 adults comfortably, if everyone is cozy together 4 should be good too.

Everything was clean and worked as it should. Service was great and can be scheduled at the desk in case you have pets. Price is really a steal especially if you have pets.

Parking here is super cheap for Waikiki but its like a 5 minute walk. The walk is pretty though and there are opportunities to acquire coffee on the way. If youre staying for more than a couple weeks maybe look at the Ft Derussy parking garage for monthly parking, saved us like 400 dollars.

Also the 123 store is cheaper than the ABC store.

If anyone from Surfjack reads this, Thank you all so much for all of your help, smiles, and conversations. You were a wonderful start to our life on Oahu and we will genuinely miss seeing yall when we leave. If I didnt name you in my review it's because I felt like 3 was the right number, not because I dont like ya!
