Great place for a short trip.
Pros:

Location is perfect. Close to many things like food choices and shopping. The staff was friendly and helpful. Facilities was excellent for short stay.

Pros:

The location was my favorite part, we were able to watch the sunrise to the east and simultaneously see the lightening storm around the west mountain. This was amazing to watch! The staff went out of their way to make every accommodation possible, Tiana at the front desk, specifically. Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Views were amazing and the pricing was right. We really enjoyed our vacation here.

Dated and disappointed.
Pros:

Breakfast was ok. I expected some local fruits like mango or papaya.

Cons:

Overall the hotel needs updating. Hallway carpeting needed ro be replaced years ago. The mattress on the bed was worn out. As I rolled over I almost fell out of bed. The room was incredibly humid and didn’t start to dry out until the A/C was on for about 8 hours. For the money I paid I expected a lot more. In 5 days it’s the worst part of my Maui trip so far.

Hotel in guter lage, geeignet für Ausflüge im Raum Kahu Lui.
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt recht gut, nah am Flughafen und eignet sich gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge und zum Einkaufen in Kahu Lui. Ein Auto sollte man aber haben, wobei es reichlich Parkplätze gibt. Das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Zimmerbeschreibung war korrekt und für einige Nächte ist das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt zu empfehlen.

Cons:

Wir hatten uns im Vorfeld über das Hotel geärgert, weil ich wegen eines Tippfehlers einen Tag zu kurz gebucht hatte. Ich habe dann im Zuge der Booking.cm-Nachricht an das Hotel gefragt, ob eine Verlängerung möglich wäre. Dies war für mich zunächst eine unverbindliche Nachfrage. Wenige Stunden später habe ich dem Hotel geschrieben, dass sie meine Anfrage bitte vergessen sollen, da ich den fehlenden Tag extra dazu gebucht habe. 2 Tage später erfolgte die Nachricht des Hotels, dass man meine Buchung kostenpflichtig storniert habe (die erste). Auf meine 2.Nachricht ging man nicht ein. Ich habe dann über Booking.com versucht eine Lösung zu finden, was aber nicht gelang - das Hotel blieb stur. Und Booking.com schloss sich der Argumentation des Hotels an. Wobei ich mich auch von Booking.com im Stich gelassen fühlte. Eine einfache Anfrage ist und bleibt für mich noch kein verbindlicher Änderungswunsch.
Die Zimmerpreise empfinde ich als hoch, was aber wohl eher am Gesamtpreisniveau Hawaiis lag.

Cons:

Old, worn down, toilet clogged up twice and I had to borrow their plunger and clear it myself. Shower leaked, bed was worn out, cleaning service was poor.
