Clean and comfortable
Pros:

Great location, tram stop nearby, clean room , comfortable bed .

Cons:

Was very expensive but might have been because Dutch Formula 1 GP was in that weekend.
Bathroom tiny but adequate.

Excellent and would 100% come again! Wonderful staff.
Pros:

The staff are so lovely nothing is too much, I booked the birthday package for the bedroom to be decorated €25 and it looked lovely! Balloons, rose petals a card & a bottle of wine a really lovely touch! The rooms are lovely and clean and the beds comfortable, I bought a hot chocolate and forgot to put the cup down and the man helped me and got me a fresh one as mine went into the tray.
Highly recommend this hotel am still staying here currently as writing this but will 100% come back. It’s central and close to everything. Value for money & as I’ve said the staff couldn’t be more any nicer and always say hi every time they see you and wish you a nice day / night!

Cons:

Truthfully there’s nothing I didn’t like about the property!

Excellent location for tourists!
Pros:

Excellent location and close to Central station and red light/tourist areas. Tram right outside the door. Friendly staff.

Cons:

After advising they would store luggage for a few days upon arrival was told they would not. Had to source other options which was very pricey and inconvenient.

Un buon hotel
Pros:

Colazione continentale, con diverse alternative di dolce e salato. Sarebbe stata perfetta se avessimo avuto un po' più di frutta fresca e la torta di mele almeno una volta. Comunque davvero buona

They cancelled my room just 10 minutes after the check-in time, leaving me with nowhere to go

AVOID – DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

I booked my first holiday in 8 years and was really looking forward to finally having some time away and a stress-free break. Unfortunately, my experience with Avenue Hotel turned it into the complete opposite.

This was not a last-minute booking. I booked several weeks in advance and had a confirmed reservation. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that my booking had been cancelled just 10 minutes after the check-in time, leaving me with nowhere to stay.

I contacted the booking company, who blamed the hotel. The hotel then blamed the booking company. Nobody wanted to take responsibility, and I was the one left stranded.

To make matters worse, I was told I could have to wait up to 30 days to get my money back. This meant I didn't have enough money available to simply book another hotel. I had to call my family and ask them to pay for alternative accommodation. It took around 4 hours to finally get somewhere else arranged.

What disappointed me most was the attitude at the hotel. I found the staff extremely unhelpful when I arrived, and I didn't even receive a simple apology for being left without accommodation.

Luckily, I had family who could help me. Without them, I genuinely could have been left with nowhere to stay that night.

If you're looking for a reliable, stress-free hotel where you can feel confident you'll actually have a room when you arrive, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

I booked after reading the reviews, which is why I'm sharing my experience. Honest reviews are important because they help other travellers know what they could potentially face.

AVOID. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I certainly won't be returning.

De locatie

Cons:

We konden het raam niet openzetten vanwege het geluid van alle airco's buiten. Ook was het erg gehorig. We hoorde het dicht knallen van alle kamer deuren in het hotel, daardoor zeer slecht geslapen. Maar ook omdat het raam niet open kon en de airco ook niet aan kon vanwege het geluid.
