Pros:

Casita worked out well for my dad's rest and prep before cancer surgery. I stayed in a double room only a few steps away.

We stayed 16 days at this property. We enjoyed the pool and the landscaping. Management was very responsive to our reque
Pros:

The hotel has beautiful landscaping and the exterior is attractive. From the outside, it has a resort ambiance. It was clean and well maintained. The pool has a relaxing waterfall feature. It is in a good location and the staff is friendly.

Cons:

The room & pool loungers need updating. The toilet did not have a lid. The hotel could easily charge $100 more per room if they were to renovate the rooms and improve breakfast. Breakfast was subpar and the same each day. Housekeeping every three days was difficult for us. Every other day would have been easier to track and keep the handtowels stocked. The $22 resort fee should not be charged on days the pool is unavailable.

Pros:

Very dated. Welcome to the 70’s! But… the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Looks like no updating since 1975.

Pros:

The rooms were pleasant and clean, and the view and surrounding area were really nice. Bed was also really comfy.

Cons:

The bathroom could have been a little nicer - the toilet seat was clean but really scuffed and old. I was also disappointed that the staff who checked us in forgot to give my drivers license back; he got distracted trying to find rooms together, even though I had requested that in the reservation. I didn't notice until I got home. Thats on me - but when I called they said they had it right there and would mail it to me the next day. It never arrived and when I called back they didn't have it "but remembered seeing it around." How hard could it be to just mail it out?

Pool was ice cold which is why we chose this particular stay
Pros:

Location and staff

Cons:

First room had dead bugs on the bed, pillow, nightstand. Little dead bugs like poison had been sprayed very recently. Hair on the "clean" pillow as well

I thought I was treating myself to something special by booking there. I was disappointed.
Pros:

The room was quiet despite being on a busy road. Also, the bed was comfortable. And the mural behind the front desk was wonderful.

Cons:

The room itself was almost shabby in terms of structure. It was as if repairs had been done on top of repairs for many years, and not with acceptable skill. I love old and quaint, but my room did not meet that standard.
