This hotel seems nice on the surface but a lot of details and service are yet to be improved.
Pros:

Newly refurbished but some areas remain worn. The location is good.

Cons:

- The small corners in the bathroom shower area seem dirty.
- The service is really random and unprofessional. My room door was open when I arrived at 12am and the door leading to the terrace was also left open, the room was really cold as a result and it’s really not relaxing when you arrive in the midnight and your hotel room doors are wide open.
- The cleaning team seems unprofessional from the way the towels are laid out, it’s really not the standard you would expect for this price range
- The dried flower decoration in the room is constantly falling off and creating dusts
- water in the bottle is not replenished the next day and glasses are not replaced, these are basic things for a hotel in that price range. When I told the service team, they asked me to top it up myself in the bathroom.
- The pillow is extremely high and impossible to sleep
- There is no staff around in the evening, I wanted some cutlery to have dinner in my room and called the number I was given, no one picked up so I had to think of creative alternatives to have dinner.
- The TV was unplugged when I arrived and I had to plug it back myself in the narrow space between the TV and the wall.

Comfortable room in great location
Pros:

Amazing location right next to the park, and short walk from the museums. Staff were always friendly and keen to help. Room was comfortable, with lovely large windows.

Cons:

Room doors shut quite loudly, making it hard to sleep in if other guests are getting up. No fan in the bathroom meant it got quite humid in the room whenever we had a shower.

Pros:

Die Lage war super und das Zimmer sehr sauber.

Cons:

Zimmer viel zu klein. Zwischen Wand und Bett konnte man kaum durchgehen. Keine Steckdose im Bad. Zweiter Stuhl hätte gefehlt. Fenster ist immer wieder zu gefallen. Kein Mülleimer im Zimmer.

Fabulous location
Pros:

Love this location! Walking distance to many of our “must see” museums & shopping and felt so safe. The two rooms we reserved for our family of five were charming and the beds were comfortable. We spent much of our time enjoying Vondelpark and the spring sunshine.

Great location and cosy rooms
Pros:

A very cozy hotel in a fantastic location. Easy to get to with good connections to the rest of the city. Also easy to walk to the museum area. Lots of cafes and restaurants around for good food. Bring right on the park was perfect for a morning run, and it was nice not to be right in the center of the city. I loved walking around the neighborhood and admiring the houses. My room was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a mini fridge, a kettle and even an unbrella! The candy and snacks in the entry were also a nice treat when I arrived back in the evening. Compared to the prices of other hotels, this was one of the cheapest (though still expensive!). But I loved staying here more than in the real center of the city.

Sehr zentral in toller Lage. Nettes Personal. Tolles Gebäude. Smart TV.

Cons:

Handtücher liegen einfach vor der Türe. Boden wird vom Zimmerservice nicht gereinigt. Defekte Lampen im Zimmer. Kühlschrank sehr laut. Bad leider ebenfalls nicht sauber gewesen. Schade

Perfekt beliggenhet, 30 minutter gåtur ti sentrum av byen. Området rundt hotellet føltes tog var veldig pent.Veldig koselig sted , du har mer følelse å være på besøk hos noen enn at du er på et hotell.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Sehr zentral und direkt am Park gelegen. Mit der Bahn kommt überall sehr schnell hin. Auch das Design des Hotels war sehr schön.

Cons:

Das Zimmer befand sich im Souterrain, es war daher sehr dunkel und sehr klein. Das Badezimmer roch unangenehm nach Abfluss und das Licht im Badezimmer war kaputt. Es ist immer wieder ausgegangen. In der Dusche war dazu auch noch Schimmel.

In dem Zimmer selbst gab es keine Garderobe oder Möglichkeit seine Kleidung abzulegen. Der einzige Kleiderhaken der vorhanden war, war abgebrochen (vor unserer Ankunft).

Das sind aus meiner Sicht Dinge, die man hätte vorher beheben MÜSSEN. Für 700€ für 2 Nächte, ist das eine absolute Frechheit.

Good stay!
Pros:

Safe neighborhood. Rooms were very clean! The owners were helpful and lovely. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very close to the museums. Walkable to the trams.

The rooms were very small, we were not used to being in a room and bathroom so small.
