Very friendly staff at check in and the restaurant.
They were also helpful with advice on getting around the city.
Bed was very uncomfortable
Room was basic, a lower standard than a Travel Lodge in Uk
The receptionists are super friendly and always ready to help.
The location is close to transport, but you'll need to walk a bit, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet.
The bathroom is quite small, and the room was not clean.

Zimmer zur Straße, der Autoverkehr war auch leider Nachts sehr laut.
Das Waschbecken ist viel zu klein dimensioniert. Die Duschtür-Verschraubung war sehr locker und die Tür drohte herauszufallen.
location was great as it was easily accessible from multiple modes of public transport. The room was clean and the toilet was properly fitted with all the required toiletries and amenities. nice that the wifi was free and you could cast to the tv any subscription we had.
only problem was that there was no hot water when we returned to our hotel in the early morning time. and it wasn;t fixed by the time we woke up to check out so definitely something needs to be done to improve there.
I don't know why this hotel doesn't have a better rating here. It's a good hotel. The bathroom is really small, but functional. The shower is good. The room has good space, the TV is great, and the bed was very comfortable. It's not a new hotel, and the carpets in the hallways may be replaced during renovations. But the room has wooden floors and was clean. It's close to Lelylaan station – you can walk there if the weather permits. I think it's a good option if you need to stay relatively close to the airport and still plan to spend the day in Amsterdam. Staff is friendly.
