We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The suites were spacious, the pool was great and conveniently located, and the entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
We especially want to thank the team for going above and beyond by helping us return our camera after we accidentally left it behind. We really appreciated their kindness and excellent service.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with outstanding customer service!

Clean, pool was lovely, breakfast was incredible!
The chairs on our deck had sap all over them
I have been visiting Rutland every summer for more than a decade and each time at the Best Western for a consistently relaxed and comfortable stay. The rooms are very clean and very well appointed, the mattress has always been comfortable and above all the staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is served over an extended period and has a large variety of hot and cold items, including always some variety of hot eggs, but I especially appreciate the peeled cold hard-boiled eggs and the muffins. Grounds are spacious and well-kept, rooms are in a series of separate small buildings with parking directly in front of each building.
It was clean and the staff were friendly
Nothing comes to mind
The only place I stay when I'm in the Rutland area. The rooms are always clean. The staff is the friendliest and so helpful, it's nice to be recognized. Special Shout Out to Lisa and Stella. The fresh baked muffins are worth getting up early.
The receptionists and workers at this hotel were among the friendliest of all the many hotels I have stayed in. I would say they were in the top two. Since the hotel was not crowded at that time, we were upgraded to a suite. I’ve seen apartments smaller than this hotel room suite. It had a large living room, a patio with two chairs, a dining area with a table and chairs, a decent size kitchen with full refrigerator, stove and even dish washer. The bedroom had 2 large queen-size beds with a closet. The bathroom was a good size with space around the sink for toiletries and another closet outside the bathroom. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was pretty good, the same as most Best Westerns, with hot meal choices, for example eggs, a waffle maker and some cold choices (cereal, milk, etc.). The area was peaceful and quiet and an easy drive to downtown Rutland or Killington.
Room was very clean and looked amazing. Service was incredible!
The beakfast was a disappointment. I have celiac disease and require gluten free food. The options for me were limited. The overall hotel experience was good.
The room was very very clean and tidy. Robin, our housekeeper did an excellent job. Checking in was also very easy and the man at the desk was super friendly and helpful.
We needed someone to stay for the night while we visited friends, and the hotel was wonderful, check in was easy. Robin who did the housekeeping on our room did a wonderful job. Its also very easy to get back onto the road after leaving the property. The room was very clean and well maintained.
Did not eat breakfast here. Location was perfect.
Liked everything
The guest room was excellent, spacious and clean. The staff at the Best Western Rutland, VT were outstanding. I would like in particular to single out their wonderful General Manager Lisa Jajack and the exemplary front desk staff members I interacted with during my stay: Marissa, Stella and Kylie. Thank you again!
Bare bones and fine.. This was def set up as a ski hotel, as in you're not spending much time in the room. When you are it's just for sleeping.. It's not bad; clean, nice bed, just basic.. The room is old like the shades, toiletries (not fancy) had towels (not soft not hard just ok) it's a motor lodge style; as in you check in then have to drive to a cluster of rooms that are set up as individual buildings.. not the worst, but certainly not great when you just took your stuff from the van and now must put it back, then take it out again! It's cute, very VT, ski vibe. I'd stay again if I had to! Late night staff was LOVELY!
Clean modern suite with all the amenities. A porch with a great view of the woods and mountains. Good value.
Wonderful staff. You would never think you were in a hotel.
The front desk was very friendly and fast!
The hotel is a number of buildings almost more like a lodge than a large hotel which is far nicer than one big building. The parking was convenient located in front of each building and the room was clean and well maintained.
Stayed here only for 2 nights to ski Killington with my teens.
The 1 bedroom suite with a kitchen was cheap compared to anything on the mountain or compared to Airbnbs. I was worried with some of the reviews but it was fine.
Pros-
Suite was a great size for a family. Two queen beds and a fold out couch
Plenty of room for ski stuff
Kitchen for snacks, leftovers, drinks was nice
Breakfast offerings were not bad
The staff WAS SO NICE....honestly....very lovely people working the desk when I was there and the place was PACKED with high school groups for a ski trip.
Lots of parking
Close to Killington and plenty of places to get food in Rutland
Cons-
The bathroom was old school Best Western. You get the point.
Place was clean-ish...but not amazingly so.
Some outlets didn't work
Location was great. we were in town from Maryland for a wedding at mountain top resort. your breakfast was awesome. staff great.
I liked it all
