Servicekräfte zu finden ist schwierig- weiss jeder. Man muss sich aber um die Gäste bemühen.
Pros:

Wir hatten mit der Gruppe 3 Komfortzimmer gebucht. Weit entfernt von Komfort. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein. Kaum Ablagemöglichkeit für Kleidung- kein Schrank, was wohl üblich ist in den NL-🤷‍♀️. Die Fenster sehr schmutzig und die Spinnweben sind wochenlang nicht weggemacht worden. Da die Mitreisenden fast 90 jährig mit Rollator sind ein "no go" für Komfortzimmer.

Cons:

Kein Service für Getränke auf der Terrasse. Für die vorwiegend älteren Gäste mit Rollator war es schwierig Getränke zu holen, da die im Frühstücksraum befindliche Bar ständig nicht besetzt war. Die Getränke mussten von der weiter entfernten Bar geholt werden.

Goed hotel, gastvrij, en een prachtige locatie. Een of twee verbeterpuntjes,maar ik kom zeker terug!
Pros:

Volendam is een prachtige locatie, en je loopt vanuit het hotel zo de dijk op!
De badkamer was basic, maar prima in orde. Verder is er ruime douchegelegenheid bij het zwembad aanwezig. Je moet de handdoeken daarvoor alleen wel zelf vragen bij de receptie.

Cons:

De receptie zou beter kunnen ; de bezetting was laag en de kwaliteit was wisselend.
Van een aardige Volendamse dame, tot een meneer die liever een discussie aan de telefoon voortzette dat men dan maar met booking.com moest bellen terwijl ik en een andere gast stonden te wachten.
Verder werd ik minder vriendelijk te woord gestaan toen ik bij het uitchecken vroeg waarom men mij parkeerkosten factureerde hoewel de slagboom praktisch de hele tijd openstond tijdens het verblijf. Het inhoudelijke antwoord op deze vraag was ook niet toerijkend, dus ik heb toen de discussie van ellende maar afgekapt om het nog enigzins beschaafd te houden.

mooie propere kamer en lekker ontbijt

Lekker en uitgebreid ontbijt. Mooie moderne kamer. Niet groot maar meer dan voldoende. En we hadden 2 kamers en de 2de kamer kreeg een upgrade en dat was ook heel goed

Cons:

Het onthaal was onvriendelijk. Slechts 3 keer aan de balie geweest maar 3 keer heel kort antwoord gekregen zonder veel uitleg. Het kwam erop neer, zoek het zelf uit.

De locatie is perfect — aan het meer, met parkeergelegenheid en op een paar minuutjes lopen van restaurants, winkels en de marina. Grote, schone kamer en een comfortabel bed.

From Luxury Seaside Escape to a Retirement Resort Disaster
Pros:

If you visited this hotel a few years ago and return now, prepare to be extremely disappointed. We chose this hotel because we had stayed here two years in a row and loved its peaceful, luxurious atmosphere by the sea. The breakfast used to be excellent, and the staff was always welcoming and professional.

Sadly, this time everything changed.

The hotel felt old and neglected, and the atmosphere was completely different now it seems focused mainly on elderly all-inclusive tour groups. The Dutch manager was particularly rude and unhelpful. Our room had no proper windows, and since my partner is claustrophobic, we politely asked for a room change. For nearly four hours, the staff insisted there were no available rooms, despite the fact that we could clearly see free rooms listed both on the hotel’s official website and on Booking.com for the same night. Only after a long and exhausting argument did they finally move us.

Cons:

Another unpleasant surprise was that regular guests are apparently no longer allowed to dine in the restaurant because the hotel is transitioning into some kind of all-inclusive/membership concept aimed at retired guests. This important information was never mentioned on Booking.com. When we asked about it, the staff responded very arrogantly and said that from next year the hotel would become members-only for this type of clientele.

We also paid €20 per person for breakfast, which was a complete disappointment compared to our previous stays. The food felt cheap, low quality, and partly frozen. On top of that, parking costs an outrageous €17.50 per day.

This hotel has completely lost the charm and quality it once had. We will never return again, and I honestly cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing seaside experience.

Le bâtiment est plutôt beau dehors comme dedans,.

Cons:

Absence totale de chauffage pour une nuit à 5 degrés dehors et une douche qui débordait en moins de 2 minutes, sans compter le petit déjeuner qui ne vaut largement pas son prix. Un check in approximatif et un check out expéditif ont couronné le tout. Et vu la moyenne d'âge, si vous avez moins de 60 ans, à éviter coûte que coûte..

Insatisfait, le personnel de l l'hotel a gâché nos vacances !

L hotel et la situation géographique est top, par contre li e personnelle est a chier. J avais ecrue plusieurs mails dont un pour savoir les langues parler dans l hôtel, on ma bien précisé que trois langes sont parler couramment dans l hôtel Allemand, anglais et hollandais. Je parle couramment l allemand cela aurait été top. Mais à mon arrivée le personnel non pas voulu parler allemand, a la réception il ma répondu no Englisch et nous as littéralement laissé de côté moi et ma famille car nous ne parlions pas la l anglais, après m m'avoir dit qu il ne parle que l englais il ma tourner le dos et a parlé avec d autres clients. Impardonnable quand on voyage avec des enfants en bas âge. Aucune de mes informations que j ai donné a la réservation a été enregistrée : plaque de voiture pour les va et viens sur le parking et a l hôtel. J ai réservé en demi-pension et on a encore voulu nous faire payer les repas!! Aucune info nous a été donnée nous sommes arrivés un soir à 18h30 et il ni avait plus rien a manger, on nous as dit que le repas était de 17h00 a 18h30 la blague ! Horrible quand on paye 1560€ pour 4 nuits. Juste impardonnable
