Payment, Deposit & Pre-Authorization:
Unless prior arrangements are in place, we will process payment for your stay on arrival to the hotel. The hotel requires a valid credit card to be presented upon check-in for the registering guest. The card should match the name of the reservation as made and must be presented for Chip & Pin verification. It is not possible to pre-pay for a third party guest due to GDPR and privacy restrictions. We reserve the right to receive payment or request pre-authorization of the full amount for the stay period based on the credit card details provided upon check-in. We do not accept cash payment for room reservations. We do not accept debit cards to secure rooms or for pre-authorization on check-in due to ongoing issues with releasing same. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause guests.

Please note that the Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the booker’s credit card up to 4 days prior to arrival. This places the pre-authorized amount in a holding state which also temporarily reduces one’s credit limit. The pre-authorization is not a charge and no funds will be debited from the account at this point, this will also not be reflected in the credit card statement since no charge has been made. The credit limit will be released back to the cardholder within one week depending on the issuing bank.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

I would prefer other hotel such Towers Hotel which is better comparatively.
Pros:

It's close to Train/ Bus station - 6 mins walk. Outer space of the hotel has good vibes, people having pints and lunch/dinner. Looks amazing on a sunny day.

Cons:

Hotel gives free Breakfast (which is a catch) do not fall for it. It does have not a Buffet, order taken as per the menu. More dissapointing was that you need to come for breakast at a particular time given by the hotel, for us it was 7:30 am (did not look like we were on vacation). Stayed there for 3 days out of which 1 day they said they do not have fruits (how can 4 star hotel not have fruits to serve).

L'habitació era gran i els llits confortables. Tot molt net.

Cons:

L'habitació que ens van donar no tenia cap finestra exterior. Donava a un celobert en un sòtan que donava a un passadís. En general no sembla un hotel de 4 estrelles.

Relaxing stay

Not What it Once Was
Pros:

I had stayed at the International in December, with 2 of my nieces and it was a nice stay. Unfortunately, it's gone down hill since then. I stayed in August, 2026 with my other niece and the room was SO small that it didn't comfortably fit out luggage. Additionally, the back of TV remote was missing so they just put tape over the batteries instead of replacing the whole remote - cheap! I found out from a local that there is new ownership and that is what I attribute the decline to; no longer family run. I will find a new hotel to stay at next time I'm in Killarney.

On the positive side, the location is great and the staff were friendly.
