قريب من اثناء اقامه في هذا الفندق نزلت الى الريسبشن كي اغير الفلوس الذي معايا وتركت جوالي على الريسبشن وتم سرقته ولم يعيدوه لي فكان سيء جدا

I stayed in Addis for 3 months and had certain parameters to respect due to my available budget, the location to consider, and personal needs, especially regarding the job waiting for me. Obviously, I couldn't afford a higher hotel class, but I also couldn't fall into traps I would later regret.
My initial search, even with the help of AI, led me straight to VAMOS, which surpassed both Best Western and a second international chain—whose name I don't remember—that were anyway out of my price range.
After a chat about my requirements via WhatsApp with the owner Getahun (a true gentleman who quickly became a brotherly friend), I immediately finalized a gentleman's agreement without any deposit, securing a reservation for a single room with a bathroom and balcony on the first floor of the property.
For 3 months, everything went wonderfully. Sure, sometimes there were minor issues mostly due to the language barrier with some of the staff who weren't very fluent in English, but a solution was always found. Top-notch cleaning, top-notch room service, a well-equipped and tasty international restaurant, and an efficient laundry service. I didn't use the sauna and gym available on the mezzanine floor, but purely out of laziness.
I thank and recommend Getahun, Jo, Beza, Marta, Sami, all the dining room staff whose names I won't list to avoid making mistakes and thus causing offense, Elias the driver, the security guys, and their helpful service regarding my cigarettes. A huge THANK YOU... We will see each other on every future trip to Addis, always as if we were old, brotherly friends.

הייתה רצפה לא הכי נקייה, לא היה דלת במקלחת והמים לא היו תמיד חמים למרות שאמרנו כמה פעמים.
היה לנו סיפור לא נעים, דברנו עם אחת העובדות על צק אווט מאוחר, והיא אמרה שאין בעיה לשלם על חצי יום ולא אמרה מתי, כשהגענו ב6 בערב (תכננו לעזוב ב8, שזה פחות מחצי יום) עובדת אחרת אמרה שהייתה אי הבנה שלנו והפילה אחריות והכריחה אותנו לעזוב עכשיו ולשלם חצי או מחיר שלם, בלי התחשבות ולקיחת אחריות.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. I really appreciated their excellent service and welcoming attitude. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay here again.
