Bon petit déjeuner, beaucoup de choix, continental et écossais
La chambre aurait besoin d’une rénovation.
The staff were friendly. The breakfast was good. The location was ideal.
I did not get my wake up call as promised on my last day and was almost late for my bus. The room was not clean, layers of dust on everything, the net curtains and walls clearly needed a good wash, and a good vacuum would not have gone astray, however, the bed and bedding was clean. Relocating to another location at this point was not an option for me as everything was fully booked.
Slept well being far end of hotel
Hotel needs a multi-Million pound refurb. Bathrooms are cold and mouldy, Windows are rotten and can,t be moved, It is all very tired and needs basic maintenance. outside window railings are rotten or non exsistent. Attached bar McNabs opens late and shuts early evening. Takes in coach tours so very poor quality and the hotel staff need a 100% pay rise having to defend such a poor quality offering. Very sad as it was wonderful a few years ago, as great location but go next doot to the Palace which has had substantial investment to provide excellent offering. But their bar closing early as well.
Fantastic location
The location and the staff were greeat
Missed having a bath in our room and at breakfast the fruit options were tinned and not fresh ( apart from the whole fruit).
Nothing
Everything, plus I still waiting for my refund
Dust everywhere
Water in the bottom of the kettle
Hairs in the toilet
Crack tails
The location was good. Staff were friendly.
The room decor was tired and a bit shabby.
large comfortable room, spacious area, nice bar. very helpful staff
the breakfast was awful, it is hidden at the back..no one seemed to realise. The staff member just took room number that was it. Everything in the hot area had sat for a while it seemed, dry due to the over head heat. I paid extra for the river view and breakfast. lets be honest paying almost two hundred did not seem worth it-100£ each. The set up is basic even though it gives the impression of being classy. there is no carpark, you have to pay an all day ticket in the abbey car park.
Close to town centre, Castle and bus and train stations.
Tired rooms, hairs in Bath, torn duvet cover, finger prints on walls, chipped paintwork. Had to ask for the free body wash and a cup for the 3rd member in our party as only 2 in the room. Restaurant only open for breakfast, room was freezing.
Great location
Bit out of date

Property looks very tired and poorly maintained. Needs re- painting throughout. Bed linen - especially pillows need replacing as the pillows are stained and old - very off putting.
Location on the river and close to centre.
Room was clean, tidy and comfortable.
Staff were welcoming and pleasant.
Only used room and so can't comment on other services.
