When trying to call and book a room, staff very rude. Would say I'm with a customer and then just hang up on you.
Clean and staff were great!
The temperature of the rooms was exceptionally warm and could not cool down. Three days and it only went down two degrees.
Well lit room (227) with comfortable bed. Good quality bed and bathroom linens, full breakfast. Walking distance to supermarket and food outlets. Access to Netflix.
Basin in bathroom was leaking. Called reception to advise, but phone not working. No guest laundry.
The rooms view was great! Also the breakfast was delicious!
The room was so hot. The AC did not work. The elevator was very confusing to others so it was sometimes a very king time before we got to our floor.

Temperature of the room. Could not get it below 24c without opening a window as the thermostat could not turn the temperature down below 24c, due to the compressor being off for the winter. The ability to turn the temperature down to a comfortable 20-21c would be good.

Pick another hotel. Do not stay here. The breakfast is gross and not good, beds are old and saggy. Took 20 minutes to check in because of lack of front end staff. Save yourself the disappointment and book somewhere else. Only positive thing about the stay was George the fron end staff.
I liked the location but didn't like the rude staff. Tried not to stoop to his level because his assumptions were everywhere. Didn't ask questions when I arrived and somehow didn't see my reservation or prove it wasn't there. Told me it was rhe third parties fault not the hotel. Had to book directly with hotel and was surprised I had a membership with Best Western but didn't give me details if that would save me any money. He wasn't friendly or outgoing but had the attitude that I was beneath him. I didn't fall for the bait of him being rude because I knew it would be turned around if I reacted negatively. Killed that energy with kindness. Seeing the lobby area renovated since it opened was nice with retro look still there. Housekeeping was knocking at the door 11am sharply. No sign that check out wasn't at noon like I assumed compared to most hotels. An older lady and younger one who barely spoke English didn't apologize for being loud rushing me to go. Would've left a tip like I do at many hotels but it should be earned not given. 200 later for a room I checked in barely before midnight from the airport. Never again.
The staff need training with customer service including housekeeping.
