The staff.
The “residents” it is being used as a “half way house” ancient rooms unmodernised, ghost like hotel, apart from the “residents” who live there.
Disgrace of a hotel. Apart from the staff. We spent over £500 with our two rooms and dinner. Waste of money.
Big rooms
Sink plug didn’t work
No fans available.
Decor very dated
Furniture very dated
Door swipe difficult to work / wouldn’t work
Breakfast the absolute worst I have ever had. Sausage tasteless/ cheap, no fried eggs, chewy toast, scrambled egg absolutely foul.
Staff clearly do not want to be there.
Staff were friendly and helpful, organizing rubber shower mat and extra milk for room tea. Despite low numbers dining, the kitchen offered a full and varied dinner menu which was suitably varied and excellently cooked and presented
Room was effectively brand new and lacked some of the basics, such as door hooks, extremely slippy shower tray, until rubber mat provided, and no effective shelves in bathroom for medicines and cosmetics. (The only shelf was the sill of a blanked off window, which was already fully occupied by spare toilet rolls and rolled up hand towels - there being no other available locations for these withing the bathroom. On one side of the bed, the "in-lead" switch of the side table lamp could not be easily reached.
The staff were helpful
Unfortunately, the room I was given was unbearably hot, with no air con or even a fan, as the staff said they did not have enough! On top of that, in the middle of the night, a very noisy machinery non stop until 0900 am. So, we ended up spending an awful night. Also, I believe the facilities need some renovation. I cannot believe why in the UK we still rank hotels like this with stars!, as this is common for many hotels in the UK. Moreover, how Bookings ask more than 100£ for facilities that are not as good as they should.
Friendly, helpful staff, all areas clean and tidy. Fast check in.
Good breakfast and evening dinner. Excellent gym, spa and pool area.
First impression. Frontage not inviting. Doors to newly refurbished bedrooms on lock and key. Difficult to see keyhole in poorly lit corridor. No glasses in bathroom, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, no lock on bathroom door, usb points behind bedhead.
Had a wonderful spa day and afternoon tea with my daughter. Yes the hotel is a little dated but I think it adds to the charm. The staff here were all excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. The afternoon tea was delicious, the scones were amazing! I had the mini back, neck and shoulder massage which was quite possibly the best massage I've ever had!! Didn't catch the name of the massuesse but she is a credit to the spa. Will definitely come back again 😊
The hotel was amazing for the price that we paid. Facilities included a swimming pool and a sauna,
Lovely garden views and very helpful staff.
The hotel was slightly dated. But for the price we can't complain.
Loved the facilities, really helpful staff and the location is perfect for the zoo
Just needs a bit of a clean in some areas/update, but great values for money
The hotel grounds were beautiful and the room was very comfortable and clean. The only fault I can think of was that a couple of the bulbs in the bathroom was out and the signal on the TV was very poor.
People very helpful. Food excellent. Room was good
Nothing
We had an amazing time at Brook Mollington Banastre Hotel. The quality and high standard of cleanliness of the double room we stayed in was the same throughout the hotel. The pool and gym were an added bonus to use. We booked a room including breakfast and was surprised at the variety of food on offer. It was really nice. Our dog was with us on our stay and was made very welcome. The hotel offers such good value for a lovely experience.
Sam and all of the staff were so friendly and helpful, they are a credit to the hotel.
So, as you would have guessed I would highly recommend a stay here.
We will definitely be returning. Thankyou.
Cleanliness and the quality of the room and all of the hotel. Free use of the swimming pool and gym. The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices and was delicious.
Very dog friendly.
Good value for money.
We felt very comfortable and would definitely return.
