It was horrible dated rude staff and freezing cold
It was ok
The toilet didn’t flushed properly the shower leaked everywhere and to top it off we went outside they got the homeless people stopping their walking around with hoodies on smoking the weed with dogs not impressed at all we have to pay save to do this you don’t expect to see this
The staff were very friendly and helpful. 10 minute drive to town centre.
The facade is very run down. It smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke.
On the last night of our stay the toilet leaked raw sewage into the bathroom.
Absolutely appalling it was an amazing survival experience
Dump on the wall freezing with the cold windows wouldn’t close properly noise coming from the top unfree in the middle of the night all night
It was literally haunted room was very spacious cold not very comforting
I booked a Sunday night break here for my husband's birthday. Found the hotel very easily and there was plenty of parking. The reception area was nice and light, staff were very friendly and helpful and we were quickly checked in. On getting to our room I found we had been upgraded to a large four poster room which was so kind of them. As other shave said a lot of the furnishings and décor are a little dated but I did notice the drapes were excellent quality and very thick. The bathroom had a large mirror and separate shower. We obtained a towel each from reception on check in and went straight to the Pool which was very quiet and warm, we also used the jacuzzi and my husband used the men's sauna (these are located in the changing rooms. There is also a well equipped gym and squash courts. You need a padlock for the lockers but we just ensured not to take any valuables. The changing rooms were quite cold unfortunately although the hotel were trying to manage this with heaters. We had booked dinner, as the hotel was quiet we were the only people in the dining room. The waiter was very polite, the food was ample and reasonably good, likely pre-prepped and frozen due to low numbers. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was good with cereals, fruit, toast and hot food. Overall, while the hotel is a little dated we found it to be clean and the staff very nice. Considering what we paid this was excellent value for money and we will stay again.
The breakfast was amazing and the staff couldn’t do enough for us
It was welcoming and the room was stunning
It was out 10th wedding anniversary there was balloons and champagne compliments of the hotel
This place is very special
I would give this hotel a ten out of ten
The pool and sauna is relaxing
I cannot think of one thing that I did not like
We didn't get to stay because your head office rang to say it was cancelled then the manger rang to say it was cancelled because of maintenance issues.so we booked somewhere else as advised.they both said they would contact booking.com for us to get a refund.but we have not received any refund as booking.com has not received any notification from you to say you cancel ed our booking .I've rung your manager twice he said he would sort it .he has not done it.soAm very angry as paid a lot of money that booking .com has got or hotel has it.wont be recommending your hotel to anyone. Wrote an email to you asking for it to be sorted .but nothings happening.so might go to a solicitor.
Comfortable although very cold and abotdated
As above
Excellent

Great location, clean, the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.
Nothing need updating curtains faded, decor old fashioned and everywhere you went there was a musty smell
Ivy growing through the windows 2 of the windows in the room had cracks in them, no heating shower head not powerful, toilet was hard to flush, petrol cans in the reception, only 2 members of staff working at anyone time.
