Fabulous location but prices have gone up dramatically and service has gone down.
Pros:

great location and lovely and really helpful lady on Reception.

Cons:

Service very slow at dinner and the food was not up to the same high standard as it was on our previous visit last year.

Very difficult to get a drink to the table!

Excellent hotel in the old city of Innsbruck
Pros:

We liked everything about this hotel in Innsbruck. The ambiente is very unique being in an old house in the old city of Innsbruck but offering all the modern comfort you would expect. Lets begin with breakfast: For EUR 24,00 it is not cheap but it offers a lot. You can get your own orange juice from oranges. Staff is very helpful with the machine. Eggs are offered in any way you like (scrambled, sunny side up) and served by a lovely staff member. And you have the choice of breads, buns, cold cuts, vegetables, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and also sweet goods like mini donuts oder Danish. The standard room is relatively small but it offered all the comfort we would ask for. It was quiet. The bathroom was excellent. A little safe was very welcome. The elevator worked well. If you do not want to go out for dinner: The restaurant of the hotel offers excellent meals.

Cons:

There was not anything we did not like.
