Everything about our stay was perfect. The hotel is in a superb location right in the centre of the old town, in the pedestrianised zone surrounded by many restaurants. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. Parking was in a public carpark 10 minutes walk away where the hotel gets a discount. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice, including the type of eggs we could have. We dined twice in the open air restaurant area at the front of the hotel during our 7 night stay and the food on both occasions was delicious. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioning was great in the heatwave we were experiencing during our visit. The hotel itself is very historic with an interesting history over a number of centuries.
Nothing not to like.
Just a tip for if you have a car and are staying for a few days and want to be able to come and go regularly. The cheapest option - better than the car park recommended by the hotel - is to use the multi-storey carpark at the Market abount 10 minutes walk from the hotel, (address Markthallen-Garage on Herzog-Siegmund-Ufer 5, 6020 Innsbruck). For a 7 day period they have a ticket costing €65.00. It enables you come and go as many times as you wish during the 7 day period. We did a lot of trips to high mountain passes, cable cars etc and to neighbouring towns like Seefeld and Kitsbuhl. So this car park was by far the cheapest.

Location.
The property felt dated
The old character of the hotel. It was so very clean.
It had an elevator and WI-FI. The beds were awesome and duvets were excellent. It was also great that our room had air conditioning.
Great location. AC works well.
The location of the hotel is central and ideally located. The staff were friendly and the history associated with the hotel is great. Although the hotel is old, the rooms have been upgraded, so it felt neat and clean.
We expected a classic hotel experience and didn't quite get that. The rooms are quite small and we only had a view of the neighbouring building from one small window. There was no fridge, which would have come in handy for basics like milk. The cost seems a bit high for what you get.
Excellent location, right in the heart of Innsbruck! Amazing access to a selection of restaurants, shops and activities. The Mattress was very comfortable & Staff very friendly. We also requested to leave our big rucsac’s for the day and they happily accepted this. This made the following day much easier to get around before out train out of innsbruck that evening.
The pillows were very flat.
Excellent location, well, maintained facility

Sehr gute Lage 100 Meter entfernt vom Goldenen Dach !!
Abendessen Bedienung ok, Essen könnte geschmackvoller sein
This is the oldest Inn in Innsbruck- we are told that Goethe slept in our room many years ago! It is a stunning old house, beautifully and sensitively transformed into a modern hotel. We loved the friendly and professional staff, and location couldn't be beaten- we could see the Golden Roof from our room.
Breakfast was a lovely selection of local food. The restaurant was super, with great service from such welcoming people. Big, very comfortable bed.
The water temperature in the shower varied- but that didn't affect how much we enjoyed the stay.
Info, wer alles schon hier genächtigt hat
zu viel Kitsch an den WÄnden
Great location, near to everything.
Nothing
