Disappointed.

Cons:

April 2026. Staff barely even talked to us. Didn’t even say thank you or anything when we checked out.

It’s under construction. This was never shared with us. We paid for a canal view room and couldn’t see it because the whole front of the hotel is covered in a draping.

No discount nor compensation offered.

La posizione

Avevamo prenotato una camera con bagno privato ma arrivati ci hanno comunicato che avremmo avuto il bagno in comune. La camera era sporchissima, tantissima polvere ovunque, sembrava mai essere stata pulita. Arrivati abbiamo trovato in dei cassetti oggetti di persone che erano state lì prima di noi. Camera minuscola, con tetto spiovente proprio sopra il letto. Non c’è l’ascensore e per arrivare alla camera avevamo da fare 51 scalini minuscoli, portare la valigia fin su è stato complicatissimo.

Zimmer sehr hellhörig. Kalter Luftzug trotz geschlossener Fenster. Haare im Badezimmer und auf dem Bett und Seifenreste in der Dusche bei Ankunft im Zimmer.

Die Lage ist wirklich toll. Alles ist zu Fuß erreichbar.

Cons:

Das Hotel wird gerade renoviert und rund um das Hotel ist ein Baugerüst, sodass man nicht nach außen schauen konnte. Das nächstgelegene Parkhaus ist 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und kostet 55€ pro Tag.

Brought my son for his birthday and it was overshadowed by the hotel due to above faults ,would not recommend

No safe for duration of stay ,couldn’t shower first day as shower was blocked ,also room wasn’t cleaned full stay ,same bed sheets for 4 days ,heater in room falling apart with wires hanging out pretty dangerous also no tv for first two days and the guy behind desk must have entered our room while we were asleep to put Ariel in tv , wasn’t there wen I went to sleep and was there wen we woke up that alone is pretty frightening that he’s in room while we’re asleep

Li es muy amable sanzi y el chico iben son personas agradables y siempre dispuestos a ayudarte, el lugar está en el centro de Amsterdam me gusta mucho el sitio y todo lo que está a su alrededor
