The free hotel shuttle bus will take you to the airport between 05:00 and 23:40. The shuttle bus departs at the Airport between Hotel bus stop A9 and A13.
In case you need to be at the airport during the night, the night shuttle bus will take you for an additional cost of EUR 7.50 per person (children up to 11 years EUR 5.00). This offer is based on availability and to be booked upon check-in. Please note that guests with children older than 2 years old need to book a family room.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

The rooms at van der Valk are great. They offer comfort, and are nice and big. Shower/toilet etc all is in a very good state. The breakfast is one of the best in the world. Enough sweets and savoury things for everyone.
We had a twin room, which means 2 separate beds, blankets, and mattrasses. If you go with your spouse, i would recommend the king size bed instead.

L’espace, les chambres bien conçues, la literie confortable, les procédures simples et rapides à la réception, le petit déjeuner abondant.
C’est un très gros hôtel mais on ne se sent jamais oppressé par un service expéditif.
Au restaurant, quand on fait une réservation, on ne peut partager la note qu’en cinq maximum (nous étions 19)
On peut commander et payer individuellement que si on vient sans réservation.
Je n’ai jamais vu ça ailleurs.

Wenn das überhaupt etwas zu bemängeln wäre, dann die PKW Stellplätze, etwas knapp bemessen! Der Parkplatz ist sehr groß und es stehen eine Vielzahl von Stellplätzen zur Verfügung, auch bei mehrmaligem Rein- und Rausfahren habe ich immer einen Platz gefunden.

Wat niet ?
Kamer was zoals gebruikelijk prima. Ruim, schoon, mooie looks, prima badkamer, prima bedden. Niks op aan te merken dus. Ook de hele uitstraling van het hotel (gangen, restaurant, receptie, etc.) is erg mooi.
Verder is het 'Park & Fly' arrangement zeker aan te raden. Ideale cmbnatie die ook nog eens goedkoper uitpakt vergeleken met een andere overnachting icm parkeren op P3. Aanrader!
Routing op de parkeerplaats mag duidelijker en overzichtelijker. Het was echt even zoeken waar ik naartoe moest en het was niet meteen duidelijk waar de ingang is (er zijn er twee, vandaar).
Always very convenient when transiting via AMS. Free bus service to and from the airport is a plus. Very kind staff.
