Most staff helpful and pleasant, but very sub-standard stay for our group of 7
Pros:

Most of the staff were lovely and helpful.
Some of the rooms were quite good and comfortable, while others were not.

The breakfast buffet was quite good

Cons:

Part of the travelling group arrived a day after the first group of 3 of us, and their rooms were not ready - they were being painted and plastered and had other things that were not quite ready, so 4 people had to sleep on the floor in the rooms that some of us had secured the day before. The manager still wanted to charge the group for the 2 rooms that were not ready even though we didn’t use them.
The shuttle ride from the airport was also quoted and confirmed as $70 USD (which was already quite expensive), but upon arrival at the hotel, the charge went up to $105 USD because they had sent the ‘executive’ car ( without our consent -and after confirming the original price). The place was under construction as well, with hammering starting at 3 AM. The food was good, but overpriced. THe only reason I didn’t leave worse numbers for the review is because I don’t want to get the kind staff in trouble, but the management of the place and appropriate reservations was really unacceptable.

Pros:

Nice little hotel, friendly staff, quiet neighborhood. Pretty decent breakfast. Tiny gym, but the treadmill worked

Cons:

Thin walls, can hear neighbors. While room price was good, sparkling water was $5... slightly musty smell in rooms and very little natural light

Pros:

room was great

Cons:

1.Mastercard machine did not work for UDS - big negative for the high room rate. Fortunately the MKW machine worked and the staff were excellent in sorting this out. The Hotel owner needs to invest and add Mastercard.
2. Very loud music late at night from another room - Hotel needs to add some rules on this.

Enjoyable
Pros:

Very nice staff the room was comfortable for our needs. The shower is excellent. Separate restaurant and nice pool to sit and have a drink.

Cons:

A tip for guests is to order your meal in advance from the restaurant as it takes 1 1/2 hours for the meal to come. The meals are lovely and well presented.

Aangenaam verblijf
Pros:

Ik was slechts 1 nacht in Annavilla na 3 weken gewerkt te hebben op Likoma eiland vooraleer huiswaarts te keren.
Ik heb genoten van de rust, het vriendelijke personeel en het lekkere eten.
Nette kamer, en praktische badkamer, alle voorzieningen waren aanwezig.

Cons:

Het enigste minpuntje was de venster die uitkwam in de traphal

Cleanliness and comfort and a peaceful atmosphere. Nice pool, bar, and restaurant.
Pros:

Annavilla 7 is a perfect small hotel with a lovely pool, good restaurant, and nice, very accommodating staff.

Cons:

The manager needs to finish putting in all the paving stones.

Pros:

Friendly staff

Cons:

More like a motel behind a big noisy iron gate. I think I got the smallest and darkest room and it looked quite tired. Good sign is that there were renovations going on in other rooms, but lots of hammering until after dark. No breakfast included.
I moved to a nearby real boutique hotel (Green Elephant) the night after: a world of difference for not that much more money.

La chambre était confortable. Climatiseur, moustiquaire, table et fer à repasser, grande salle de bain avec produits de toilette, bureau, plateau bouilloire ...
Bon accueil, serviabilité, amabilité

Cons:

Le restaurant était bon mais il n'y avait pas tout ce qui est au menu, loin de là ! Mieux vaut demander directement au serveur ce qu'ils peuvent proposer.
Trop de marches pour accéder à la chambre et dans la salle de bain, qui m'ont valu une chute (coupure d'électricité dans la nuit) et une visite à l'hôpital le deuxième jour de,mon séjour. J'aurais préféré tester la piscine qui avait l'air très bien.
