This is a lovely hotel located in a beautiful scenic locale more than halfway up the hilltop. The entranceway is pretty and there’s a local artist here whose works are on display. Next to reception is a bar with indoor and outdoor seating and is open late. Just next to it is the Restaurant Gabrisa, which offered great seating and a lovely menu.
The reception staff were attentive and upgraded us on arrival. Our room was ready almost immediately. It was a lovely room. Modern décor. Clean and bright. The balcony looked out onto the sea and offered a spectacular view. The view is the classical postcard Positano view.
The bathroom is large and there’s bathtub actually generously sized. The water pressure was excellent and so was the temperature. I know these seem trite details but these little details can make or break the impression. The pillows were thankfully firm and comfortable, not like airbags. There was enough storage space in the room. The aircon worked very well. Right across the hotel are stairs heading down. The town centre is a 20 minute leisurely walk away. If you stop and peruse the shops lining the street, that’s longer of course. The way back on foot takes longer as it’s an uphill climb. If you take the stairs and the road, it’s around 20 minutes. And best have your asthma pumps on hand. Unless one’s a proper athlete, those uneven stairs are not easy. We took 20-25 minutes to amble up the hotel along the road and the only thing we did was rush to an air conditioned room.
The reception staff were friendly, helpful and also got us tables easily.
This was a fantastic stay for us - we were here for three nights. This pretty little hotel is brilliant and comes highly recommended.
Service was fantastic. Big shoutout to Simona at breakfast and to Ahmed on the front counter!! Ahmed made us feel most welcome from the minute we stepped out of the car to the moment we left. All his recommendations and bookings were first class!!

The view from my room was breath taking. The staff was very friendly, especially Brizio and Gianluca. They helped us with any questions we had. The rooms are very clean. The shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Graci to the the staff.
We stayed here in April 2026 while in Positano for our honeymoon. Really nice hotel very clean and modern with very comfortable beds/pillows. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the main part of the town/the beach but there is also a bus stop just outside for the internal bus which passes every half hour. Staff were very friendly and they upgraded our room for us which was very much appreciated.
An unforgettable stay from start to finish. The views are honestly breathtaking—one of those places where you stop and just take it all in every single day. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the service. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction, always warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special thank you to Ahmed at reception, who made everything seamless and added a personal touch that really stood out. Hospitality at its finest. Can’t recommend this place enough.
L’hôtel est très bien situé.
On peut tout faire à pieds mais il faut marcher un peu; attention si vous avez de très jeunes enfants.
La vue mer depuis les chambres est incroyable.
Le personnel est au petit soin, toujours un petit mot gentil à chaque fois que nous les croisions.
Gros plus pour nous, nous avons été surclassés dans une chambre doté d’un jacuzzi et d’une grande terrasse : le top !
Nous y avons passé 3 superbes nuits.
À noter: il y a, à côté de l’hôtel (10 mètres), un très bon restaurant.
S’il fallait améliorer un point, ce serait sur le petit déjeuner.
Il manque un peu plus de variété de fruits, peut être également des pancakes/crêpes.

We stayed here last April (2025) and returned this April! This is an absolutely stunning hotel situated in a brilliant location in Positano offering fantastic views across this beautiful town and this world famous coastline. The hotel is unique throughout for its display of locally created artwork and has also recently been fully refurbished to an amazingly high standard including white marble flooring in all bedrooms along with luxurious bathrooms, mini bar etc. All rooms have a balcony, which offer great sea views. All of the hotel team are so welcoming from the minute one arrives at reception and throughout one's stay. The breakfast is extensive and beautifully presented, offering freshly cooked to order items along with a vast buffet offering of everything else one would expect. We would very highly recommend this hotel as the place to stay in Positano and WE WILL be back again.

Nothing to dislike
This trip was our first time in Italy. The attention to detail and care and guidance from the staff at art hotel was second to none, incredible. They made us feel at home, like part of the family. They gave us excellent food suggestions and really took care of us. Could not recommend higher 15/10
We stayed at this beautiful hotel in Positano for our wedding anniversary, and from the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. We were greeted outside by a lovely gentleman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. He took the time to walk us through everything in detail, explaining the hotel and helping us get our bearings. We had a boat scheduled for the next day, and his directions to the beach were spot on and incredibly helpful. They also had a few little surprises planned for us, which made our anniversary feel extra special.
After that, someone helped bring our luggage up to the room, who we later realized was also the bartender. He was incredibly kind, super funny, and gave us even more great insight into the area, which added to the warm and welcoming experience.
The service throughout our stay was truly amazing. We were treated like family by everyone we encountered. Room service was impressively fast and very reasonably priced, which was a nice bonus for Positano.
Our room was absolutely stunning. We had a sea view with a jacuzzi tub on the balcony, and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. Waking up to that view each day was unforgettable.
At checkout, Brizio was wonderful. He made sure everything was organized, including having our car ready on time, and ensured the process was just as smooth as our arrival.
The artistic decor throughout the hotel, created by one of the owners, adds so much charm and character. It really sets this place apart.
We would absolutely return to this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Positano. We can be quite picky when it comes to accommodations, and this place exceeded our expectations. It is definitely worth the price for the area.

We loved our stay! Great views, quiet spot, comfortable rooms (even a straightener in the bathroom) and great location. Stairs to the beach were close (it’s about 10 min down….lots of stairs like everywhere else in positano) and it had options for food and shopping without the crazy of nearby via Cristo Columbo.
Ahmed and the team were excellent in helping make the trip easy—advice on ferries and itinerary. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. Clean and excellent service!
