Overpriced with only a bar on site, no restaurant service for hot foods
Pros:

It was clean.
Friendly staff.

Cons:

No restaurant facilities. No hot food.
Would have had to pay extra for cold breakfast.
No fridge to keep things cold, if needed.
Workmen working outside my room for 2 days.
Thin walls, so could hear people next door.

Perfect for one night, providing everything we needed.
Pros:

Good location for Theatr Clwyd with a large car park. We had a bar meal, which was fine. There is a varied menu, which reception staff helpfully printed off so we could decide what we wanted to do in the comfort of our room before we headed out. Our room was massive and recently decorated, with a huge bath with overhead shower. The bed was enormous and super comfy, and, as we were by a courtyard, it was very peaceful; we both had a great night's sleep.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there was only one small wall heater in the room, which really wasn't up to the job of heating such a large space in February. We would have asked for a further heater, but we were only there for one night, so we couldn't be bothered. If we had been staying any longer, I think we would have done. The water pressure in the shower isn't the best, but it's not the worst I've ever had either. Although there was a coffee machine and a kettle in the room, the only coffee capsules available were flat white or cafe-au-lait, and the only tea was breakfast tea. As I am lactose intolerant, I wasn't able to enjoy the provided hot drinks. Again, had we been staying for longer, I might have gone and asked if other coffee/teas were available.

A very pleasant stay. Near to the Theatre.
Pros:

Had tea, breakfast and afternoon tea and all were really good. The staff were efficient and very friendly. Our twin room was fine. TV a little small but had i-player which was a bonus.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike except the smaller TV, but thid was not a real issue.

Never again! You get what you pay for - and even this was a rip off!
Pros:

Good location for Theatr Clwyd. Friendly receptionist.

Cons:

Staff downstairs making a lot of noise, very late at night. Filthy room: kettle and bin filthy and untouched by a cleaner. Thick dust throughout. Cobwebs around window. Splashes and marks on walls - easily wiped off with a finger. Dirtiest hotel room I've ever slept in. Everything is very dated and scruffy. Horribly uncomfortable mattress which actually caused me hip pain. Freezing cold room. Terrible night's sleep.

Pros:

The service was good. All staff were friendly and attentive.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was spacious.
The bar offers good food.
Lovely new carpet throughout our rooms.
Good value.

Cons:

The plates, cups and cutlery in the suite were dirty and there was no washing up liquid for us to wash them.
The decor was dated and needs attention, for example the wallpaper was peeling off of the walls and ceiling in some places.

We were there as we had to attend a funeral, but we are going back later in the year for a holiday .
Pros:

Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Evening meal was excellent we only had the half portion and that was too much for us. Very good value for money.

Cons:

Hotel reception and upstairs area was very cold. I no other areas I didn’t like.
