The breakfast was very good! A good range of freshly cooked food.
The room was well equipped but very tired. The furniture was scratched, paintwork yellowing and chipped and the bathroom was ancient! Having said that, everything worked so it served a purpose!
Reasonable rate and good location.
Dirty bathroom: hair on floor, poorly finished bath sealant and floor to bath sealant. Room could generally do with some updating and refreshing.
Le petit déjeuner est top !!!
L'épaisseur des murs, on entend tout 😅
Had evening meal. It was great. Beef Bourginon it was such a generous plate of food and so tasty. I didn't have breakfast because I didn't have time. Would definitely stay again
I was happy with my stay and couldn't find any fault with my room. The bathroom was maybe a bit dated but I believe some have been refurbished
Quality breakfast and meals. Sunday Rooast was exceptional!
The settes, etc on the 1st floor provided a comfortable feel. Could relax there.
Staff were great!
The bar area wasn't comfortable to sit in - no atmosphere.
The bar and restaurant area was too functional.
Staff were really lovely, especially those in the dining room at breakfast. The quality of the cooked breakfast items were far higher than expected, all very fresh and cooked well. Comfortable bed with additional pillows in the cupboard if needed. Plenty of parking available.
Extremely dated. Good to see there are newer rooms on offer, but everywhere else also needs a refresh too.
It is quaint and quite different, the location is perfect to break my journey to Holyhead
it's ideal for me as long as I'm on the ground floor.
A lift would be good.
Lovely welcoming staff. Peaceful location but near enough to a town if you drive. Nice simple food.
Nothing really. Bit out on a limb iif you don't drive.
Room was comfy. Dinner really good. Breakfast excellent.
Bathroom was not the cleanest. Window ledge very dusty. Rust marks on the bath. Shower control very high up. Toilet didn’t flush well.
The shower was weak, the bed was not very comfortable, bathroom needed sealant around it, and room not sound proofed. I was able to hear next rooms conversations and activities.
The room was very clean, and staff politr
Very impressed with the refurbished room I was allocated. Tasty breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
I would prefer a slightly bigger bath towel
Overall excellent.I thought the staff. Were very polite and helpful.i have a cousin who didn’t stay but ate some of the buffet not all because she has a chronic celiac condition. She asked a very young member of staff if the chips were cooked in virgin oil and not with oil cooked with other fried foods because of her condition. He apologised and said yes the oil may have fried foods that may have contained gluten so those chips were a no go.
After about 15 minutes the young waiter arrived at our table with two bowls of chips he had specifically cooked in fresh oil for my cousin and her mother. I have to congratulate him on his proactiveness and thoughtfulness there are not many young people that would do that very commendable. Thank you
The male toilet door opens the wrong way and people walking past when the door is open can see men urinating needs sorting.
