The reception was excellent our room was more than we expected the breakfast area was fine

Cons:

The biggest letdown was the restaurant area most of the chairs had torn seats the tables looked dated and generally spoilt the time having a meal there.

Staff nice. This place has potential, but needs a lot of money spending on it, in the bedrooms.

If you had breakfast, bit exspensive,
If you only want a bacon sandwich, its the same price as a full breakfast.

Cons:

Everything in the bedroom, out dated and worn, shower poor, tv poor. Bit noisy in room from thw bar area / function rooms

Pros:

Super clean and comfortable, friendly helpful staff, great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Super convenient and wonderful staff, but the hotel needs quite a refresh.
Pros:

Staff are the stand out here. Every member of staff is very helpful, friendly and welcoming across all parts of the hotel and certainly make you feel welcome.

Cons:

The rooms themselves are very tired, old stained carpets, tired rooms, lack of aircon too so was quite a warm room to stay in.
Unfortunately the cleaning chemicals used make the rooms smell of industrial strength cleaner so needed to air the room quite a bit.

Cons:

No lift, full of coach parties, breakfast area large and like a school dining room, could have done with a few extra soft furnishings to soften it. Only 1 pack of biscuits on tea/coffee tray, but it was a double room.

Good budget hotel for short stays
Pros:

The location was ideal for our needs. Staff were friendly on arrival, warm vibes in and around hotel. Hotel is ideally placed for exploring North Wales and Cheshire

Cons:

The hotel looks tired in places and a little dated. There was no bottled water in the rooms, and shower was intermittent. The hotel accepts coach parties so hotel can be very busy with more senior guests.
