Was always a fantasy to stay here .. the reality didn’t live up to fantasy… just a facade that the guts don’t measure up

The breakfast … bed

Cons:

Lack of staff on check waited 30 minutes.. fridge was off and had all ice and water through it … had a struggle to find a manager to sort it out .. menu was way to sparse and expensive ..

Pros:

The hotel was really well placed for restaurants bars etc, very close to the train and bus station which was great for getting out and about :)

Cons:

The room interior was very tired looking, chips to all wood surfaces (skirting etc) the flooring was old and not very welcoming. Overall the room was clean but not 4* in my opinion.

Very enjoyable and would stay there again, superb position
Pros:

Fantastic staff, I arrived early and left my luggage in store. Two young ladies on duty, both very good, but the Canadian lady was exceptional. Gave me a map, marked numerous places to visit, bars, restaurants, gave me loads of information with pleasure in doing so, not because she should be,b7t because she wanted to help.

Cons:

Swimming pool had few loungers, only went once, not signposted very well in hotel and ended up having to lie on pool pavement.

Cons:

Cleanliness of the rooms, dust in corners and near furniture legs etc, showers requiring re grouting but clean.
Really need to reduce costs of mini bars ridiculous.
