Hotel is old, rooms are in old condition, cleanliness is acceptable, pillows and mattresses are .

the hotel is rather old but clean. they only put small complimentary small bottles of water which is not enough

it is a good hotel , worth the money you pay.

Good location, nice front desk and housekeeping staff. would be better if the fitness room attendant were a bit friendly and helpful. also some guests opened their doors while they talked loudly and smoked!

Worst hotel we stayed at on our trip. The rooms are nothing like the picture. Rooms are very dated. The mattress was a stiff as a board. Thought I was at a motel 6.

The staff is not good at English, hard to ask questions and get any help. The main desk and the entrance to the hotel in different floors, very confusing especially at night. No clear signs.

The place was not well maintained and staff not sure of places of interest near the hotel

Rooms are extremely clean but old. No TV channels for foreigners. Internet connectivity is decent.

A big drawback staying at this hotel is for Vegeterians. There is literally no food available as veg anywhere by the walking distance. Nearest option would be about 15 mins cab drive.

We had booked this hotel through TRIP.COM which i now regret using.

My company staff and myself stayed at this hotel this past weekend.
The room is old and so are the furnishings and the bed was hard.
Though for the price we paid and the location which is absolutely great we were satisfied with the hotel.
But the stay was made worse by the Assistant Manager Mr Chi who was on duty on Sunday the 5th May evening when we checked out.
We requested for a big metered taxi as we were 4 people with 4 bags and the concierge arranged it for us. However when the taxi arrived, this assistant manager came out of nowhere and told us that the taxi would not go by meter and we had to pay the fixed rate of Rmb 280 which was more than twice than Rmb 120 which we paid from the airport also on a big taxi.
When we refused the taxi as this rate was not informed to us when we asked for the hotel to call the taxi for us and asked him to call 2 small cabs instead - he REFUSED saying that we would have to go to ground floor and call them by ourselves.
I refused and told him that this was a mandatory service provided by the hotel and he would have to call the taxi for us.
He proceeded to tell us that we now had to pay Rmb 20 to the taxi that had already arrived and the 2 new taxi would take 30 minutes to arrive. This i knew was a lie and with time constraints - i decided to take his name down and take his picture which again he refused.
I told him I would complain strongly to the hotel management about this TAXI RACKET SCAM that this rude despicable Assistant Manager MR CHI was running in this hotel.

So that was my story - beware of taxi scams even in big 4-5 hotels whereby even the manager level personnel can get involved.

A good trip ruined !!! Will not stay here again.

Centrally located , easy access to MRT

clean room and nice room services. the facilities in the hotel are good enough to its rating. but the whole hotel is a bit aged and it would be better if it can be renovated sooner. the location of the hotel is super good.

Avoid this hotel like the plague unless you don't mind an awful smell of smoke everywhere, dirty carpets and furniture. Stains are everywhere from top to bottom and you cannot tell if that was blood, wine, semen or God knows what happened.
Looks like hotel was built in the 70's and never cleaned ever since.

Was here for a 2 day business trip and the room was serviceable. All amenities available within the room and bathroom and is enough for a convenient stay.

Location-wise it is ok as it is about 5-8min walk to the nearest subway station and there is also a mall close by to have food and drinks.

The hotel itself is quite dated already and there is scent of cigarettes even on the non-smoking and the carpet and facade are already dated as well.

The hotel staff are nice but speak little English so be prepared to do some sign language with them.

Overall decent and good for a few night's stay

Very convenient location - in city centre and close to tourist spots, efficient service and tasty breakfast. Overall good value for money. My group of 14 family members all happy with their stay at the hotel.

As highlighted by many of the reviewers, the service staff at the ground level lack the "warm reception" of a normal 4 star hotel. The only saving grace will be finding extra tissue boxes in my room (without me asking for it) when the housekeeper suspected that I was having flu from the pile of tissues in the bin during he housekeeping duties.

I was expecting more for the breakfast as it cost 90rmb and find it to be average at most. The rice noodle roll was tasty nevertheless.

I enjoyed the massage provided at level 7 which was really worth the money as it alleviates all my soreness from walking. Cheapest leg massage package cost at least 118 RMB.

Even though it is located near to 海珠广场 Haizhu Square (line 2 and line 6), the distance from the train station to the hotel took quite a while especially if you are coming from line 2.

The hotel is in a good location but the rooms are old and the beds are tinier than even the typical size at other hotels in China. A twin is the size of an American twin.

Location of the hotel is very good. Walk down to hotel lobby, it is tourist spot of Beijing road (shopping).
However, it could be due to southern China culture. The service is poor based 4 star rated hotel. Lack of smile, greeting. Imagine having breakfast at the hotel restaurant and someone is sweeping the floor beside you and your food.

Talking about breakfast, the choice of food are limited and not seem like 4 star hotel. They don’t even serve croissant, just normal slices of white bread.

If you look for hotel that near Beijing road (one of the tourist spot) then this hotel are recommended but don’t expect 4 star rated hotel services and breakfast variety(I compare this with holiday inn - city centre hotel in Qingdao, China during the same trip)

Great hotel! Excellent location. RIght on the starting point of beijing road. Food and conveyance is no problem. No Vegetarian food in hotel or nearby though. Room size is excellent. Hotel lobby and infrastructure is good. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Found them better than other 5* rated propertied in China. They dont have bell boys on the ground floor so try to arrive by car on the 2nd floor entrance (beijing road side). Only downside is that the hotel has aged quite a bit. swimming pool are is a major dissappointment. Ice cold water and very dated and poor infrastructure here. Poor mantainance. Breakfast was excellent.
