Nice stay, but a little too corporate for us.
Pros:

The hotel was a larger, but the breakfast one than we had stayed in for the rest of our trip and as such is a little more impersonal & considerably more expensive, but then Santander was a bigger place and as a port town , this probably puts the prices up.

Cons:

England were playing in the World Cup and we got to watch the first half in the bar/cafe, but then they just shut the bar without any notice, so we had to watch the rest of the game on my laptop in the room , without another drink. It closed at approx 11.45 as well which seems an odd time to stop serving

Billed as a 4-star hotel, it fell short. The room looked worn and were not well cleaned.
Pros:

The location was great for walking to nearby sights in the city, and the breakfasts were very good. The room was large.

Cons:

When we arrived, we had to completely reclean the bathroom. The toilet still had fecal matter in it. :( The cleaning staff didn't do a good job each day - they did not replace an empty tissue box, and left a bag of trash in the room one day. Overall, the room and furniture looked somewhat worn down. The room AC was marginally effective, which was an issue considering how humid it was. The beds were only average in comfort.

Excelente opción para alojarse en el centro de Santander con opción de aparcamiento
Pros:

Limpieza y ubicación. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. El personal es muy amable y dispuesto.

Gran decepción en la habitación (301). Da a a un patio interior y desde la ventana solo se podia ver un patio sucio y la pared del edificio contiguo ( viviendas particulares) a unos 5 o 6 metros. En general habitación pequeña. Bañera vieja y oxido en la desagües.Muy poco cuidada. Tapa del wc.,medio suelta. La TV encima del escritorio, casi no se podía ver desde la cama. En resumen, para nosotros tiene más estrellas de las merecidas y por tanto el precio está desorbitado. Menos mal que solo estuvimos un dia.

Perfect location for a nights stay
