This property operates outside acceptable standards. Their data-handling practices are inappropriate; they request PII far beyond what is necessary for a standard reservation and beyond Booking.com's established policy framework (outside Booking.com platform) - be prepared to submit a photo of your ID, a selfie, a picture of your credit card held next to your face, plus a separate contract outside Booking.com platform.
There's little to no support in resolving disputes with this host (can't even get ahold of them). Booking.com's third-party customer service provider does not stand behind the property, does not offer meaningful buyer protection, and cannot resolve issues through their own escalation channels. In practice, you're on your own.
Payments are not processed through Booking.com but through a separate third-party platform that feels non-transparent and high-risk. On top of that, guests are asked to sign an additional agreement that sits completely outside Booking.com's scope, creating unnecessary financial and legal exposure.
Operationally, the communication layer is unprofessional and inconsistent (when you do get a hold of someone, you can expect to spend hours on the phone trying to talk to a host representative). Different representatives say different things, provide conflicting guidance, and show minimal reliability. Overall, this setup comes across as structurally unsound, customer-hostile, and not aligned with the standards expected when booking through a global marketplace.

I just wanted to share some friendly feedback, as a few details gave the impression that the cleaning after the previous guests may have been missed.
There was dust in several areas, including corners and under the beds. When my daughter was about to drink water, she noticed some food residue in the glass, which was a bit unfortunate. We also noticed that some of the bed linens had stains, so we were unsure if everything had been freshly washed.
It really wouldn’t take much to make the apartment feel even fresher, as it has great potential. At the moment, small things like loose cables around the apartment and some cardboard boxes with black bags contribute to a less tidy impression.
I wanted to share this as constructive feedback, as the apartment itself is lovely, and these are easy improvements that would make a big difference.

La puerta corrediza de un dormitorio no se cerraba no había intimidad. Los colchones estaban para renovar. Dos sillas le faltaban un tornillo no estaban derechas.y faltaban restantes para acomodar ropa .

La entrada al alojamiento a las 16hs. Hay que renovar colchones están 7 puntos.. uno está 8 puntos . 2 sillas no estaban firmes. No cerraba una puerta corrediza de una habitación nos quitó intimidad.

The rooms were warm, inviting, and incredibly clean. The kitchen was spacious, fully stocked, and made it easy to cook together as a family. The history of the property gave it a charm that made us feel like we were part of something special.

Best location in Miami! The beach was just steps away, and the kitchen had everything we needed for quick meals before heading out.
Awesome location, place was clean, enjoyed the number of beds, TVs and towel supply was great. We didn't see any bugs which was a big plus compared to other local Airbnbs.
