Loucas On The Cliff

Excellent view of the Caldera. Rooms were ok. Had a rat in our room that started nibbling our snacks. No help bringing our luggage to the room and out of the room.

Todo muy bien, lo bueno: la vista y las habitaciones, el bar y el Desayuno espléndido.
Lo no tan bueno: muchas escaleras (todo santorini), el checkin es muy temprano (11:00 am)
El servicio del personal es muy bueno
En la descripcion dice que hay alberca, pero NO HAY ALBERCA.
En general muy bien, buena relación calidad precio.

Tough hotel to critique! - I’m split.
PROS
- The view, Spectacular!!
- Breakfast included, very good and convenient
- Location, Heart of Fira!

CONS
- THE STAIRS (your room may have anywhere between 20 - 146 steps each turn), then add the steps in town… be ready!
- No Pool
- Towels, I got charged €45 because they deemed I ruined their towels. (Cash grab)

Beautiful location but make sure the pool is fixed before you book. Total disappointment to not have a pool when every hotel in the area has a pool. We were never told and everyone was upset about it too.

Pool not working because of Earthquakes?!? We didn’t know about it before we came. Huge disappointment for what we paid.

This property was a mess. The views are beautiful but we also booked this because of the pool. The pool was closed the entire time we were there and this was not communicated to us before arriving when they knew it would be closed during our stay. Our room also had no hot water and ants. We then were switched to another room that had no wifi. We were also called into the lobby about our towels being dirty after using them, but they’re dirty towels? I believe we were the only people here and I can see why. Will not be returning and am requesting a partial refund.

The view and the amenities of the hotel are amazing!!! The only thing that I don’t like a lot it’s the stairs for get to the hotel, but it’s the price that you have to pay for that incredible view of the center of the city❤️

This is a no frills property. And if you can’t do stairs, don’t book here. We booked knowing that there were a lot of stairs. To get to our room was over 100 stairs. But the view was spectacular and right in the heart of Santorini. the breakfast was good but very limited selections; again, a no frills property. If you have rolling luggage, you can get assistance but only during certain hours, so be mindful of that. We used the pool and it was great. The price definitely is in line for what you get. The staff were very helpful.

Vue de la chambre magnifique. Avant la réservation, les clients devraient être informé du nombre de marche à monter et descendre pour arriver à leur chambre (près de 160 marches très peu ou pas éclairées et sans mains courantes par endroit pour atteindre la réception de l hôtel, les restaurants et boutiques). Pas conseillé pour tout le monde. Aucun téléphone dans la chambre pour rejoindre la réception, nous devons utiliser notre cellulaire et rarement quelqu un répond. Sur 7 jrs 5 jrs sans téléviseur la 5e journée Ns avons relancé pour avoir une télé en demandant à parler au superviseur et à ce moment seulement on nous a dit que la télé serait remplacer à la fin de la journée.
Le déjeuner est le même tous les jours et décevant. Fourmis dans la chambre et la salle de bain en mauvaise état. Le seul point positif est la terrasse de la chambre et la vue exceptionnelle.

Arrived late at night and reception was waiting for us which is good. But it was not safe when given a room far down from the cliff with no lighting for half of it down the stairs. We walked probably close to 100 steps down with our luggage without any help. Everything about this hotel is more basic than basic, things are old and broken but not fixed, reflected by the price but still pretty disappointing with such superb location.

Location was amazing! Bed and shower was not great, but staff was nice and helpful.

Værelset levede jo slet ikke op til billederne. Vores værelse viste sig at være et lille mørkt lokale, med et lille vindue m. skodder som det eneste lysindfald. Stort set ingen garderobeopbevaring og ingen altan. Der stod 2 stole udenfor vores dør, som vi måtte flytte ud på gangarealet for at kunne kigge ud over vandet.
Når vi kigger på dét værelse som vi oprindeligt havde bestilt Standard-dobbeltværelse (Caldera View) på jeres hjemmeside, kan vi slet slet ikke se nogle fællestræk med det værelse som vi fik (værelse nr. 21). Vi forsøgte endda at ville opgradere mod betaling selvfølgelig, men det kunne heller ikke lade sig gøre.

Breath taking views, room 21 had a spectacular view day and night. Food options everywhere. What I was a little disappointed was the condition of the prop. Def need to do touch up painting, rooms, hotel walls, etc. Breakfast had only the same daily options. I’m DF and GF which made it a challenge but not a deal breaker. The breakfast attendant was a super happy man! Same smile every day! Swimming pool area needs a pick me up but loved the view from the outer edge of the pool! Location was perfect half b/t Oia and Kamari. Local buses were plenty. Cabs are pricey, rented a quad and that was totally brill! Eat at Obelix - best gyros hands down! I ate there 4 times in 5 days! Def will be back but will stay on the southern end of the island. The magical spell of Santorini captured my heart forever! The best 55th bday trip EVER!!!! Ty Loucas on the Cliff.
