Aches for a renovation of EVERYTHING. The room isn't necessarily dirty, everything is just ugly &old

Restroom was clean

Cons:

The whole location and surroundings are covered in tents for the Tucson exotic Rock show or something like that, which is weird uncomfortable and makes it feel like the hotel is infested with something. Also the room itself is in desperate need of a floor, bed and appliance renovation and maintenance. The carpet is horrible and bed sheet sheets and comforter are brown when they were supposed to be originally white.. TV is extra small, the bathroom really is the only acceptable portion of the whole thing.

nice location for the Tucson bike race
Pros:

The location for getting to the Convention Center and El Tour de Tucson events, ride start and finish. The staff was congenial, front desk at check-in, cleaner, breakfast attendant, seeming to enjoy the environment with no pretense. We couldn't use them but having the pool, spa, fitness is a plus. Towels were nice.

Cons:

Price was bit over the top for the run-down property. (Maybe price jacked up for the bike race?) Broken tiles in the shower around the faucet, ripped old, frayed curtains, some kind of 4 large "stains" on the bathroom mirror weird. The ventilation unit frail and old, hard to adjust. Then the next morning I was shocked a bit to notice something I hadn't the night before- a thumbnail OR toenail just lying on top of the clock radio! ugh. strange. The 2 of us never trimmed anything in our 12 hours there.
