It was fine, despite the shortcominings listed above which cal all be remedied!
Pros:

The breakfast and food was good, sadly often cold plates for breakfast.

Cons:

As above, also there was nowhere to hang anything in the room, no hooks, and the wardrobe was small and half filled with an ironing board and iron! In the Holiday Inn Express in Dublin, we had hooks on the walls, which was so convenient!
Also the lighting in the room was very poor, it was difficult to read in the room especially the bed side lights.
Parkin was not very convenient but there was a lot of building work going on!

Nice hotel in convenient location

Easy to get to from Belfast Central Station, hotel is close to city centre, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Friendly staff, good room size

Great location for easy walking access to the town centre. Trin and bus station across the road too (although we did not use it). 15 mins to airport by taxi (£20).
Excellent choice for breakfast.
Welcoming reception and staff.
Perfect bar/snack area, seating, etc

Cons:

Air conditioning fans outside room were very noisy - we were on the first floor.
Room could have done with more4 coat hooks to hang (wet) coats, etc.
Room was cold (freezing outside) but air condition was slow to warm up the room
