SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Diego Carlsbad

I just want to make a shout out for Sarah being so helpful and understanding when it came to the changes for the Marriott online member pricediscount instead of the paper it changed to electronics which caused difficulty and miscommunication between me and the Marriott but Sarah was able to understand and walk me the process of creating an account activating it and allowing me to see what I need to look for for that special rate discount. Thank you to Sarah. I was able to enjoy a Mother’s Day at my favorite hotel and My Favorite Pl., Carlsbad I will be back the kids.

Very professional and very good service one of the best stays this year for sure. They help you in any way they can and make sure you have the best experience possible. Marriott is my goto for sure;)

This is the perfect spot to explore Carlsbad from. It’s in a gorgeous location with easy beach access and beautiful views. The staff is wonderful especially Josh who is so welcoming! Housekeeping’s daily refreshes are excellent and breakfast has lots of options. Super quick walk to the best restaurants, shops, and coffee spots. Easy drive down to San Diego or to other spots like the flower fields or Torrey Pines park for a hike.

My wife and I decided to celebrate our 23rd Anniversary at Springhill Suites in Carlsbad. We called and let them know and WOW, were we in for a super incredible treat. Cassidy at the front desk decorated our room with roses, rose petals and a welcome bag with all kinds of goodies and a bottle of red wine. It doesn't get any better that this.

This property is perfectly located to explore Carlsbad, across the street from the beach and three blocks from the Carlsbad Village. It's a small property with two floors and secure, covered, paid parking ($25/night). No EV charging. Room was clean and spacious for a couple. We were on the second floor. There was noise from kids running down the hallway and footsteps from the room above. Both of these stopped at a reasonable hour and didn't interrupt sleep. No exterior noise. Breakfast was basic but sufficient with decent options. We asked for plain yogurt, which server brought us, nice. I recommend the SpringHill Suites for shorts stays to explore Carlsbad.

I visit every year for the Carlsbad 5000.
This is the first time I stayed at the Springhill Suites. Daniel was terrific. He allowed us to check in early. He accommodated our requests. Daniel also transferred us to a room with a view on our second night. Room 123’s view is the parking garage driveway. Room 338 much better. Thank you Daniel!

We have stayed here before and our experience is always great. Great and friendly staff. The location is perfect for us. We enjoyed the new roof top bar. Good food and drinks and view.

Friendly, accommodating staff. Nice breakfast. Quiet room with new plenty of space, nice bedding and towels, fridge and microwave. The rooftop cafe was the perfect hangout for an hour at sunset. Perfect location for walking to beach , town, train station. Lots of fun eateries walking distance.

I stayed here for 6 days. Rooms were beautiful. Breakfast the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel and the staff friendly and efficient especially the front desk guest relations lady Cassidy Goldman who helped me with s special request

The hotel is in a perfect location - the beach, restaurants and shops all within 5-10 minute walking distance. I organized a business meeting group stay at this hotel so that we could have an area to walk around and grab dinner in the evenings to unwind and the it was loved by all - coming from all parts of the world. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour drink are also a nice perk! For the location and the hotel type, the rate is amazing! I will definitely stay there again!

We hosted a company event here and it was absolutely perfect. Paola was so incredible - she was VERY responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a successful event. Daniel was so friendly and wonderful as well. The rooms are modern and clean. The rooftop bar and proximity to the water is the best part of the property. We will be back!

Had a great stay at this property as it was a corporate event and had at least 40 representatives across the country and not one complaint. In the spare time that we had, we just had to walk across the street to get to the beach to enjoy the ocean view!
A big shout out to the staff and especially Esteban Sevilla as he made sure everybody was taken care of and made us feel welcomed.

I have a Marriott credit card which allows me a free night, we decided to stay here on a Sunday night. When we arrived our room wasn’t ready, we went to get a bite to eat and came back at 2:45, room still wasn’t ready, finally at 3:30 they checked us in. They upgraded us to a room on the second floor with a balcony and partial ocean view. The room was nice, however they didn’t tell us to put our key in a slot thing that allowed the bathroom lights to turn on, if your key isn’t in the slot, they don’t work.

The balcony was small, but had 2 chairs and the road noise was pretty bad, I definitely would not pay extra for it, it was on a Sunday, maybe it would be quieter midweek…..but it would be pretty bad on a summer weekend!

Love this place! Daniel very welcoming at checkin. Great service all around. Had a great ocean view rom. We come here often

We went to spend a few nights
The staff was always helpful and went out of their way. In particular Daniel was extremely helpful. When we asked where the closest store to get beach towels his response was
"Let me get you some. Saved us time and money". He was a delight.
