This hotel is the best Springhill Suites in which we have stayed. We travel a great deal and consistently use the Marriott family of hotels. This is clearly the nicest hotel in Carlsbad. The location also is great. There are plenty of amenities and a short walk to the ocean.

All of the staff were great but we would really like to call out Josh for his exceptional service. He was engaged, polite, friendly and informative. He elevated our stay here and ensured that our introduction to Carlsbad was the best it could be.

This is a fantastic property with fantastic service. We will definitely be coming back every time we visit our family in Carlsbad.

The staff here were helpful and friendly at the front desk. The hotel feels a bit like a motel, quite parred back in a busy suburban location.
The room was clean, but there were no opening windows, so it felt very stuff unless the air conditioner was on, which I find very drying, so try not to use.
There was a bit of street noise which made it not so peaceful.
This was a clean place to stay during our journey, but would not be a destination for spoiling oneself!

Stayed here for the kids birthday and Sarah lacroix, Darren and Cassidy were able to make our stay so special! The kids loved the birthday surprise they left. Want to thank the whole staff and housekeeping staff for being able to make the kids day so special

I booked the SpringHill Suites with the Director of Sales Paola for a multi-day event my group of 13 was hosting in the immediately area. She was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the event and handled everything for us! Including all of my varying arrival/departure times. The hotel itself is amazing! Rooms are completely renovated and super clean. The rooftop bar is amazing every night. Breakfast is top notch and the lobby is a great spot to hang out. Super close to everything. Cannot beat this hotel for the price. My group is already looking into additional event dates during the year, at least 4 more in 2026. Thanks again Paolo and your team there at SpringHill!

Loved this hotel! The room was clean and spacious. The gal at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, wish I remembered her name. The breakfast was also very good. Look forward to returning soon.

Friendly service, good amenities, and excellent location. Great value for the money. We enjoyed their roof top bar and easy access to the beach!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Springhill Suites, Marriott in Carlsbad - the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, clean & a fantastic location for both accessing the beach, and shops & restaurants.

I think this was a newer or updated location, as I saw a review for this hotel chain saying the decor was outdated, but not the case with this one. They have signage saying West Elm has partnered to design their space, and I appreciated the modern & functional style of my room.

Jose was very friendly checking me in, as was Daniel upon check-out, answering all my questions.

My room faced the backside of the hotel, it was a last-minute booking, so no ocean view was available, which at first I thought was less ideal - until I realized the ocean view rooms were located above the busy main street. I definitely appreciated the peace & quiet!

Location is ideal, across from the spectacularly long Carlsbad beach, great for a good, rejuvenating walk, and only several blocks from Carlsbad Village, where I found a great ramen restaurant that makes outstanding homemade noodles & broth, and has a funky, entertaining cyberpunk decor (GONZO!).

This was my first time staying at Springhill Suites, I'm just beginning to explore different Marriott hotels, and I will have this one at the top of my list for future staycations!

The location of this hotel is perfect, just a couple of blocks from the beach. Them just a few block east (past the touristy bars) are some great restaurants and breweries. Check out State street for some great spots. This hotel is SUPER clean, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and they all seem happy to be there. The rooftop bar/restaurant is a great place to watch the sunset. The food is pretty good, the service is great. I highly recommend this SpringHill Suites in Carlsbad. I would definitely stay there again.

I just love this hotel. Everyone is always nice and pleasant. Front desk staff were super friendly and always greet us coming in and out. The room was wonderful (no lotion though). We had a small partial ocean view and it was unexpected but appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, I had pumpkin spice waffles. The bar upstairs was delicious as well, you can even charge it to your room. Can’t beat the view on the roof top.

This is our 4th time staying at SpringHill suites. It is located in a perfect spot. Its a short walk to the beach or the local downtown shops. The hotel is always clean and is very quiet. It is a great value for the location and service that you get. HIghly recommend

Hotel is a great place to across the street from the beach and close to many restaurants. Also the rooftop lounge and cafe are great. Hotel ia modern, clean, and quiet.

Tolles Hotel, fast direkt am Strand. Super freundliches und nettes Personal. Die Zimmer sind groß und sehr sauber. Fitnessraum reicht komplett aus. Kleiner Pool mit einem schönen warmen Wirrpool.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Nice, large , clean, quiet room. The front desk staff, especially Esteban, were very nice and helpful. All staff were very helpful and polite. Good breakfast. Great location right across the street from the beach. Only complaint was the mattress was way to soft for my taste.

Wanted to express my gratitude towards desk personnel named Esteban. He went on the search for a fan for my room as I like to sleep with the breeze + white noise of it. Many thanks to him to help me sleep better while traveling Esteban.
