terrible room
no window
The Balcony room originally assigned overlooks the dumpsters of the property
I was relocated after
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is super conveniently located in the park cities.
Big fan of The Graduate (formerly The Lumen). Love the location, the boutique hotel feel, and the new renovations. Hallways are way too dark - please lighten up a bit. Please bring back the free coffee bar in the mornings! Friendly staff!
Incredible location next to smu. Not very quiet at night. Room had no good places to hang towels. Cream and sugar but no coffee or tea in the room which was strange. Overpriced but secondary to the location I guess.
Love the graduate hotels except their beds are extremely uncomfortable. That’s across every location.
Not crazy about parking options but room and staff makeup difference
Great stay
Great staff
Have stayed here multiple times and highly recommend, especially for anything to do with SMU- walking distance to anywhere on campus. Excellent new restaurant, rooms have always been spotless and comfortable, staff always pleasant and welcoming.
I really liked everything about this hotel. The proximity to SMU is obvious. But I also loved the small details, and their breakfast was good too.
Directly across street from SMU. Very convenient
We stayed here before remodel. Very modern but dated. Now the decor in the rooms looks like something at Disneyland. Waiting for woody to jump out. Overkill with the western/pony theme. Shower is large very slippery once you use soap. Air conditioner is the worst ever!!! Had to put in ear plugs to try and sleep. Even my daughter in another room could not sleep because air conditioner was so loud!!! She can sleep thru anything.
Lobby and restaurant are great. Just the rooms make me not want to stay here again.
The bed and the pillows were hard as rocks. Only complaint. They were truly uncomfortable. Otherwise, staff and location are great. But they need to fix that issue. I won't stay there again anytime soon just due to not being able to sleep well.
Quick stay for business. Walking distance to a few places to eat, not far from Highland Park Village.
The air conditioning in the room was non-existent, as the room was set below 70 degrees and never came close, despite the machine running all night and sounding like a diesel engine starting each time it started back up.
The shower also was disappointing as the water pressure was not enough for the oversized, non-adjustable shower head.
No water offered
