Mi experiencia en el Hotel San Rafael fue maravillosa. Quiero destacar la amabilidad de Katherine, Mariela y María, quienes hicieron que mi estadía fuera especial desde el primer momento. Personas atentas, cordiales y siempre dispuestas a ayudar. Gracias a ellas me sentí bien recibido y cuidado en todo momento. Sin duda, un servicio que merece reconocimiento y que invita a regresar.

This property is absolutely lovely. The bed! So comfortable! Our room was stunning and spacious. Having the pool surrounded by the beautiful garden was such a nice relief. The breakfast was varied and everything was delicious. The staff who keep the front desk are so nice and helpful, especially Catherine. It truly felt like a home away from home. And town itself is a very special experience.
Nothing wrong but just to note: I had a hard time finding the front door. I’ve included a photo of it for others. There is a bell to ring. The parking is a five minute walk from the hotel so park temporarily near the hotel to unload. Someone will guide you to park after.
We were at the end of our Colombian 3week roadtrip and kind of tired already. When we got to the Mompax, we were instantly amazed by this historical city. Magical. The hotel itself was extraordinary. The staff was super helpful and carried all our luggage from the car to the hotel. The pool had warm water and our kids swam in the evening and morning. We booked 2 rooms and they both were so stylish. Really felt inspired by this place. Also really safe with kids, because the street in front of the hotel is for pedestrians only.
Really sad, we didnt get to spend more nights there. Mompox + San Rafael hotel = perfection! Highly recommend!
Everything was perfect ! The receptionist ( Catarina ) was very friendly and helpful! The pool was very refreshing and very much needed during these hot days in Mompox. Breakfast was very tasty. Room was very nice with super comfortable bed. I also recommend booking a boat trip on the Magdalena river and to the nearby Cienaga.

The location was great and the house is beautiful. We were able to enjoy the pool until late, the place is really relaxing and peaceful. Perfect to relax.
Knowing that this is supposed to be more on the high end I was expecting a better service in terms of welcoming. There was no welcome drink, no information about the area, guide or activity recommended. Also in our last day, we had to leave early and ask if it was possible to get a small breakfast packed and what was offer was a bit disappointing (a pack of cracker and a apple). We also run out of hot water the first day. None of this tai ted our stay and we still enjoy it but I would have expected a bit more from a hotel of that price range for the area.

Das Hotel liegt einfach traumhaft direkt an der Uferpromenade, die Lage ist zentral, aber dennoch absolut ruhig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, wenn auch niemand English spricht. Schönes Ambiente. Sauberer Pool.
