Kimpton - Hotel Palomar South Beach by IHG

Miami was amazing ! Relaxing also. Stayed at the Kimpton Hotel where we had Barry as our Shuttle guide (for FREE haha) He was absolutely amazing. Told us where to go and the fun things to do. Barry is hilarious and very welcoming!!! Fresh Eucalyptus hand and face towels upon arrival along with freezing cold orange infused water. Happy hour with wine 🍷. Absolutely amazing atmosphere. Make sure you stay at the Kimpton and ride with Barry anytime from 10-530 on south beach :) (don’t forget to tip. Believe me HE DESERVES IT)

First time in Miami, and I stayed at the kimpton palomar south beach. My stay was more than excellent, the hotel is on a strategic location next to anything you want to do,shopping, eating good food, Miami beach. The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The roof top has views for days. I loved my stay. 10/10.

I can’t believe that kimpton would put their moniker on this hotel. The lobby has the feel of a department of motor vehicles . Called down and told breakfast served at 7. Get down there and told it won’t open until 7:30 because server is late. No coffee machine in rooms. Very very sub par

The Kimpton Hotel Palomar South Beach in the heart of Miami is by far one of the nicest places my wife and I have had the pleasure to visit when coming to Miami. Its modern appearance and chill vibe was a nice surprise. Aside from the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities, as well as the wonderful views from our balcony, it is the hospitality of the staff that deserves the highest recognition. From the time we arrived and pulled our car up to the valet Stanley we were greeted with a friendly welcome and genuine regard for our ease of unloading our luggage. We next met Steven who was working at the front desk in order to check us in. Steven was a consummate professional in his desire to accommodate our needs in order for us to be the most comfortable we could be. He was friendly, polite, and helpful in every way we could ask for. Steven gave us recommendations for the local restaurants and entertainment in the area which we greatly appreciated. He was genuinely personable, respectful and very professional. Having seen that I have mobility issues and walk with a cane, Steven even took it upon himself to assist us with taking the luggage cart to our room, even though he was very busy with his colleagues at the front desk. I truly appreciated his kindness. I would highly recommend this establishment to all who are planning to visit the Miami South Beach area, and hopefully you will have a chance to meet Steven and his staff. Lastly Angelica and Daniela reached out to us before we even arrived and were sure to accommodate us as Platinum Elite members and assisted us with experiencing a great vacation.

Great hotel choice in South Beach. I had a very comfortable room. Stylish and bright. Good location with a ton of restaurants nearby.
The staff was absolutely amazing. So friendly. I felt the room was a very good value.

Beautiful porch, lovely towels, everything was new, great shower with makeup mirror and vanity kit, safe, happy hour at roof top bar, nice large labels on sheet products. Negatives were the small room - no place to put luggage, no in-room coffee, too much fragrance in the body wash. Front desk staff and concierge were wonderful, very helpful.

Barry was my midday Freebie shuttle driver to South Beach from the Kimpton Palomar hotel and he was nothing short of a pleasure. He was very conversational and engaging. He opened and closed everyone’s doors and he even was integral in helping my mom & I navigate Miami while on vacay with his excursion recommendations. Barry was very prompt with our drop off and pickup. It was an overall great experience. He’s a very professional and great guy and anyone that rides with him is very fortunate.

Karina as the rooftop bartender was so personable and professional. I really enjoyed her service as well as the drinks! Property is as advertised, very content with the overall experience!!

My wife and I stayed at the Palomar for business. As with other Kimptons, the service and property are impeccable. The front desk contacted me prior to arrival to ascertain our needs. We received a warm welcome at check-in. Both mornings, I had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Karina hosted me and other guests. She treated everyone with a smile and was constantly attentive. I highly recommend Palomar and will stay here again when in Miami Beach.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff who can't do enough for you. A little bit futher out away from Collins but actually everything is super nearby. Loved it
