Overbooked
I had to find somewhere else to reside last minute because they overbooked
Pictures do not match actual image now. The rooms have the walls peeling, and the ceiling. The beds are uncomfortable.
We didn’t like anything at all about the property. We didn’t like the location. We didn’t like the rooms we didn’t like the lack of cleanliness.
I booked it off booking.com seeing it looked clean and well kept. It was the complete opposite building looked run down and I didn’t even make it to the booking desk before I knew I wasn’t going to stay here. The front entrance was decently clean but smelled like an over powering fragrance. It wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t covering up the mildew smell. The mildew smell still over powered it. I went to the restroom in the lobby and it wasn’t clean at all after that I didn’t want to even see the rooms. I waiting on the phone for 2 hours trying to cancel this booking and they still charged me the whole stay. I ended up paying 80 more a nice for a cleaner hotel.
Photos on the booking website are not accurate pictures below show booking site vs actual. They don’t even do justice.
Great staff and updated common areas. Comfy bed.
Carpet smells (please remove carpet), breakfast meat options are pork only.
The pool was clean and well-maintained, and the kids really enjoyed it. The complimentary breakfast was decent—not amazing, but it had a good variety with hot items, cereal, coffee, and other basic breakfast options.
Before we even checked in, I was honestly concerned about staying there because the outside of the hotel looked so run-down. The large sun logo at the top of the building was badly faded and peeling away from the exterior, and the paint on the building was in rough shape, making for a poor first impression.
I booked a King Suite because the listing appeared to include two pull-out sofas—one in the bedroom and one in the living room. When we arrived, there was only one pull-out sofa, and it didn't have any sheets or a blanket.
I went to the front desk, and the employee told me I was mistaken and that the room only had one pull-out sofa. After checking my reservation again, I realized she was technically correct, but I do think the listing is misleading. It reads: "Bedroom: 1 bed, 1 pull-out sofa. Living room: 1 pull-out sofa," which definitely makes it sound like there are two.
Since we didn't have enough sleeping space, I submitted a request through the hotel for a rollaway bed, but the request was ignored. What made that even more frustrating was that every time I went downstairs, the front desk employee was chatting with a friend who was visiting instead of appearing attentive to guests.
On top of that, only one elevator was working during our stay, and the hallways and floors outside the rooms were extremely dirty. Overall, the experience was disappointing, mostly because of the misleading room description, lack of responsiveness from the staff, and the cleanliness of the property.
