Trashy, outdated hotel. A group of teenage girls were running and yelling at 10pm, 11pm, 3am, 6am. Staff did not answer

Location is perfect for getting to the fairgrounds quickly.

Cons:

Communication was poor. Staff actually called earlier in the day to verify I was coming. I called them back and verified I would be there that evening. They failed to communicate that the pool was out of service. This would have changed whether I would stay or not. I do not book this hotel for any other reason other than location to the fairgrounds and the pool for my youngest. They stated that the pool would be fixed the next morning and assured me the pool repairman would be there 8am. By 7pm the next day it was not fixed and stated it wouldn't be. I understand things happen but I could have found something different had it been communicated when they called to verify I would be there.

Good hotel for the one night.
Pros:

Clean, close to Nationwide Arena, Easy to get to/from. Loved the decor in the main area. Room was clean and the black out curtains really worked! We missed breakfast due to being back very late from a concert.

Cons:

The pillows were small and lumpy. Not the best, but we survived and slept.,

The beds were dirty sheets on the cot were gross and the cot had springs coming out of the mattress on the cot. The bathtub was disgustingly gross. The pool was closed and that was a main thing for us. The breakfast was very cold at 7 am. Service was awful and very disappointing.

I stayed two nights my first morning. The potatoes were totally raw uncooked what they do as they put them in the warmer and stir them and stir them in hopes that they actually cook so I let them know at the desk that the potatoes are all at 6 AM the next day was very hopeful that maybe they actually cooked the potatoes but now again raw potatoes they just put them in the container and stir them every so often. When I told the manager he came out, he tried one he talked to the lady in Spanish the lady stirred the dish, put the lid back down, and they both walked away also found a cockroach dead, but still a cockroach not impressive ( they took a nap and picked up the dead cockroach, threw the cockroach away and didn’t even bother to sanitize the countertop where the cockroach was laying). Cook your potato’s!! That’s my advice as a vegetarian I was really looking forward to potatoes and eggs.

I would not stay here again.
Cons:

Our door did not lock when we were outside of the room which was concerning. The staff also attempted to add a charge beyond the booking.com charge for the use of the safe in the room, which we did not use.
