Cons:

Beds were on wheels so moved easily, bed smelt bad, shower was filthy and the water was warm, not hot. No WiFi- or the WiFi code supplied was incorrect. Aircon don’t provide heat, just cold air.

Hotel was in an excellent location and staff was very helpful
Pros:

Location was perfect. The room was nicely laid out. Customer service was exceptional. The front desk helped us with a number of problems we had in the breakfast staff was wonderful.

Cons:

The room was a bit hot. The staff provided us with a fan which helped a little bit, but I think they turned the AC off during the winter and it was very warm in Athens when we were there.

Perfect stay
Pros:

The hotel staff is really nice and helpful. The rooms are pretty and nice. The breakfast was also really good and they had different options. Would definitely come back :)

Good hotel, but could improve in some items.
Pros:

The staff was friendly and helpful. Location was excelent, with lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby. Also the metro station is close to the hotel and a pleasant 15 minuts walk leads to the Acropole.

Cons:

Wifi was very unstable, and the breakfast was a bit disappointing, with almost no fruits. The hotel should invest in renovating the gym with some better equipment. The hotel is good indeed, but could improve in some of these topics.

Η εύκολη πρόσβαση από μέσα μαζικής μεταφοράς, η κτιριακή εγκατάσταση, η άνεση και η ζεστασιά των δωματίων. Το ευγενικό και πρόσχαρο προσωπικό σε όλες τις βάρδιες, έτοιμο πάντα να εξυπηρετεί τους εκάστοτε πελάτες. Η εντυπωσιακή θέα στην Ακρόπολη από το roofgarden του ξενοδοχείου έναν χώρο που συνδιάζει καφέ, ποτό ή δείπνο.

Cons:

Δεν έχω κάτι να προσάψω. Ηταν όλα υπέροχα!

Outstanding service
Pros:

The service from all the staff was amazing at this cute hotel with character. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities you'd need. Everyone was friendly, helpful and always had a smile when you saw them. Breakfast had a good spread of options. We were half board & chose dinner as the second meal - 3 generous courses of a salad, main and dessert accompanied by a beautiful view of the Acropolis every night.

Great location - walking distance to the Acropolis, Philopappou Hill, Plaka neighbourhood and Hadrian's Arch and a gentle stroll to the National Garden and Syntagma square which are a bit further away. Lots of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and small shops in the roads heading towards the Acropolis. Ice cream shop was a 2 minute walk away for the evening stroll!

Tip - the orthodox churches ring their bells around Athens around 8am each morning so don't be surprised if you're having a lie in

Comfortable mattresses. Adequately furnished.

Cons:

Great deal of road noise. Breakfast area very crowded and cramped; same menu everyday with no variation. Tired decor. HVAC system needs attention. Our room was excessively hot/sauna like. Requested different room and it was significantly cooler. Lighting was not adequate.

Wonderful stay!
Pros:

The Athenian Callirhoe Hotel provided a wonderful stay for me as a solo female traveler! I stayed one night before joining a tour group the next day. I stayed another three nights associated with the tour group, so I was there a total of four nights. I absolutely loved staying here! The rooms and amenities were comfortable and enjoyable, especially after a very long journey from the US. The complimentary breakfast supplied a plethora of delicious choices--something for everyone!

The hotel is well within a short walking distance of the Acropolis Museum and the Plaka area, which has great shopping and dining. During my stay, I visited this area three times. I felt totally safe, even after dark.

My departing flight was extremely early in the morning (taxi picked me up at 4:45 AM), and the front desk unexpectedly handed me a very nice take-along breakfast box.

I have nothing but good to say about my stay in this hotel. It was wonderful.

Clean comfortable and great location!
Pros:

The hotel was centrally located and the facilities were clean and comfortable. The desk staff were helpful and I appreciated that when I had to leave for breakfast, they made a "to go" breakfast for us!
