Our room was on the first floor (just one quick flight of stairs — nothing dramatic), and it was spotless and super comfortable. When we walked in, the fridge was already stocked with wine, beers, and snacks. Say less. That’s how you start a trip right.

Serena welcomed us when we arrived and was an absolute gem. She gave us amazing food recommendations (every single one hit), answered all our questions during the stay, and made everything feel easy and relaxed. They even let us check in early and check out an hour late — no extra charge. That kind of hospitality? Elite.

The location is perfect — truly walking distance to everything. And the canal view? Straight-up postcard vibes. Waking up to that view just feels different.

Overall, it was such a smooth, enjoyable experience. Cozy boutique feel, thoughtful touches, great service, unbeatable location. I’d absolutely stay here again next time I’m back in Amsterdam. No hesitation.

Ok stay due to location. I wouldn’t stay again though.
Pros:

Great location. Room was boutique style but could accommodate 4 adults for 2 nights. We stayed on street level that was convenient but make sure you have the curtain closed when the lights are on cause you ll be like a girl at the red light district

Cons:

Smell of marijuana as soon as we entered the room.
No ventilation in the room or bathroom and the bathroom was cold and also humid after using the shower.
Bathroom sink was leaking any time we used it. Light fixture on the bottom bunk bed was hanging down loose since we got into the room. Not sure if people allowed to smoke in there but we could smell cigarette smoke in our room and we are non smokers. They should either put smoke detectors in the rooms or ventilation of some sort.
