The hot tub and saunas were excellent - clean, not crowded, and close to our room.
The on-site restaurant had bizarre open times. One day we needed to catch an early tour suttle, so we planned to eat breakfast at the restaurant but it was closed. It has a breakfast menu posted on the door, so one would assume they serve breakfast. There was no advance closure notice, so we had to go next door to the Chilis at another lodging.
The location is a bit far from the main part of Banff where most of the shops and restaurants are located.
The two bedroom with a kitchenette was great for a group/for families. Hotel was clean and convenient.
The photo of the property on this page is completely misleading, the property is not isolated nor does it have a view like that. Our room had a tough view right into other people’s rooms. The kitchenette was nice but we wished it had a sink. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk into downtown. Extremely expensive for what it is but best you can get for Banff.

Nice and clean. Close to downtown. Underground parking.
Location was good and having parking on site was helpful.
Bathroom could do with updating but was fine.

It’s a bit dated but not a major issue
Stayed for 4 nights as part of a three week tour around western Canada. Though the location of the hotel was good we found this to be our least favourite in over 8 hotels we stayed in. Firstly the lobby is so dark & dingy & the reception staff were not friendly at all. We found we had to greet them each time we walked by. The room though described as deluxe was too small for our three cases and there was no room to unpack . There was only one glass in the room and two plastic cups; one of which had a hole in.
Unfortunately my husband came down with a nasty cold & was resting one morning, The maid came to service the room and when I asked her if it was possible for her to come back a little later she stormed off!
Other hotels nearby , upon a visit from us, seemed much nicer.

Loved that it was a reasonable distance to Downtown Banff. The bus stop was also right next door, so we could easily take the bus if we didn't want to walk! The rooms were spacious and the bedding was comfortable.
I didn't like that there wasn't an in-house cafe. A lot of our activities were early morning, so it was a little inconvenient to get coffee at other hotels. The one time we tried to order cappuccinos at their Carlito's restaurant, the employee there said it was going to take around 30 minutes because they only have 1 small machine, and he was not very nice about it.

The loft and sleeping arrangments for a family of five was roomy, spacious and comfortable.
The bathroom is poorlyl designed with the sink, toilet and tub in the same room; and the lighting is very dim.
