Decent but costly
Pros:

Room was nice, location is good, underground parking is decent. Loft room spacious with three comfortable beds. Air conditioning worked well.

Cons:

Added fees at check-in were high and annoying. Resort fee and downtown Calgary parking rates. Strange with no services on property and restaurant with limited hours.

Cons:

The Staff, Andrea did throw attitude on me during the check in. I reserved 4 rooms with different room types for our group of 13 ppl. It turned out that some of our rooms were upgraded and I asked her to repeat the info on the room types we finally got. She then made her face and gave me an annoying look and used a disrespectful voice to tell me she was going to write the details on paper. After that I asked her one more question whether the beds in one room were double or queen, she then raised her voice again. This was an unacceptable and impolite behavior.

Pros:

The check out lady was lovely the morning we left.
The room was comfortable and clean

Cons:

The two men on the check in desk the evening we arrived were unhelpful. They guided us to the parking without telling us we’d need a code which made arrival much more difficult than it needed to be and we heard them say the same thing to 3 other people after us. It made the whole process much more difficult than it needed to be at a busy time. Their attitude was dismissive and patronising. The lady the next morning was much better and couldn’t have been more helpful. I certainly won’t be recommending this hotel where we were mucked about by people with an immature attitude, given the prices we were paying

It was fine. A bit much for what it was.
Pros:

The staff were kind. The hot tub and steam room and sauna were great. Great air conditioner.

Cons:

We were surprised by the cost of parking as we thought it was included. Could have been a bit cleaner.

Pros:

Our room was gorgeous with plenty of space and a beautiful soaking tub and fireplace. Highly recommend Banff Inn for location in Banff--easy to walk everywhere from the Inn. Great breakfast place a short walk from here (Good Folks) and wonderful dinner options further into town (shout out to Lupo!).

Cons:

Banff (and this hotel) can be pricey, even in shoulder season. But the location of the Banff Inn and proximity to everything cannot be overstated
