Great hotel
Pros:

This Marriott hotel has some of the best and friendliest associates. Alexis the General Manager is the best. We stayed for 3 nights to attend my grandsons military graduation at Fort Benning. Just a short 10 min drive. Highly recommend staying here. They truly care about their guests.

Great Stay!
Pros:

Really enjoyed our stay at Fairfield Inn in Columbus MS. Nice clean hotel and rooms. Bed was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was above standard. Our fur baby got admission for $25. Perfect place to stay!

Overnight in Columbus
Pros:

The good - Ann Marie overnight, cleanliness, and had oranges and bananas available all day. Nice touch.

What I know for next time? Ask for a room on the other side - away from the highway. Yes, it's loud.

What could be better ? I'm a fan of pre-cooked oatmeal vs. packets. Yes, it's an old design but honestly some paint and caulk and it'd be fine. It's a fine design and if it wasn't totally renovated, it'd still be fine.

Perfectly fine for a stay in Columbus.

Brings back '60s, 70's nostalgia -- unfortunately.
Pros:

To begin, I am lifetime Titanium elite so I know Marriott. The hotel staff is absolutely wonderful! But they have nothing with which to work. The rooms are reminiscent of long ago. The sink water dripped - the shower never got hot, the room furnishings are sparse and -- old. The bed was comfortable so the mattress was fine. But Marriott needs to completely renovate the hotel - and the rooms! -- or let it go. A Days Inn or Travelodge might be glad to have it and let it finally crumble.

My stay was super awesome.
Pros:

I loved how clean and cozy the room was. The bed was so comfortable. The environment was so peaceful and quiet. Most of all I like the diversity of kind people, it was like being on a fantasy Island. There was not a good selection of breakfast only breakfast sandwiches. But overall, everything else was just great.

It was a convenient to the Army Base but to many people hanging outside the building in the morning
